Thoughts on the movie "Michael"

"This is my life!"

In the movie "Michael",
this was the phrase that
pierced my heart the most.

I'm sure there are many ways to translate it, but
if I were to translate it directly,

"I will live my own life!"

Even such a global superstar had times when they couldn't live their own life, tossed about by family, those around them, their environment, and society.

Of course,
I think there's also the aspect of
it being because they were a big star.

"Living your own life"

is,
for many people living on this Earth,
a hurdle,
a great mountain,
a challenge to overcome,
I think.

For a long time, I too
was not living my own life.

Walking on eggshells around others.
Searching for the version of myself that others wanted.

And,
I blamed my painful life on
various people and circumstances.

What does the real me want to do??

I had even lost sight of that.

Over these past few years,
through many wonderful encounters and experiences,
and meeting Reiki and Mana Cards,

little by little,
I have become able to live more easily.

I've come to be able to live in peace,
knowing that it's okay to just be myself.

I will never
leave my happiness up to others.

And
finally,

"Living my own life"
is what my life has started to become.
