Cafe Hopping - Kichijoji 'Kugutsuso' -

My 'Pure Cafe & Cafe Hopping' with my daughter...
This is a long-established cafe we visited when we went around Kichijoji a little while ago😊

The official name of this shop is 'COFFEE HALL Kugutsuso'.
It was actually founded in 1979✨

It is located in a shopping street about a 3-minute walk from the north exit of Kichijoji Station☕️

When we went down the stairs and opened the door right as it opened at 10:00 AM...
The empty shop was...
A quiet and magical space that felt just like a cave...✨

The popular menu item here is the 'Kugutsuso Curry', which is made by adding about 10 types of spices and...
simmering it for a whole day with great care and effort🍛
They say the taste has remained unchanged since the shop opened...✨

The rice is topped with raisins.
The curry had a complex flavor from the spices and...
the sweetness of the onions, which were carefully sautéed to bring out their flavor,
blended perfectly, and it was very delicious!!✨

I was truly convinced that it was an exquisite curry made with time and care...
It was a taste I could really appreciate!!🍛

The coffee was also packed with Kugutsuso's dedication☕️✨

Even though it was a weekday morning, shortly after opening,
the shop became full of many customers.

I felt that many customers were there by themselves.
However, even for customers who came in groups,
they were talking quietly,
so even with many people there,
the magical, otherworldly atmosphere remained unchanged✨

The wonderful aroma of coffee drifts through the air,
and it is a mysterious, healing space that truly calms the heart✨

For over 45 years since its founding... it has remained unchanged,
like a hideaway,
continuing to protect this healing space and taste✨

'Kugutsuso'... it was a very wonderful, long-established cafe✨
To taste the delicious curry and coffee again,
I definitely want to visit again💕
