(3) August Big Cleaning (2025) - Almost Complete -
The big cleaning for this year, 2025, is almost complete!

In the previous post (2), there were 4 "remaining areas," but leaving only the refrigerator, I finished 3 of them, so I've considered it almost complete!👏👏👏
Phew~😜

・Veranda/Windows
・Entrance
・Bathroom
・Toilet
・Ventilation fans (toilet, washroom, kitchen)
・Washroom
・Kitchen (around the sink)
・Cabinet next to the refrigerator
・Washing machine (the rim of the tub is quite dirty!)

・Refrigerator
I plan to tackle the refrigerator little by little.
Other than that, I plan to wipe down small areas like the toilet, washroom, living room doors, light switches, and outlets.
This time, I also did a major decluttering.
First, although I agonized over it quite a bit, I got rid of a large item as oversized trash that I had kept for 8 years in very good condition without ever really using it!!!
It was an ivory rattan partition, this one.
Rarely, I agonized over it so much.
I felt quite sentimental, and while whispering, "Thank you, goodbye~"
I took it to the trash collection area with a solemn look on my face.
I felt the weight and depth of those 8 years.
It's not like I'm moving or anything (lol)
Second, I also took the plunge and threw away the stainless steel dish drying rack
that I had been using for 8 years since I moved.
It was still usable, and I had even modified it myself to make it more convenient, so I had some attachment to it, but
I made the decision to throw it away to clear up the space around the sink.
I also threw away many small items.
The carpet lint roller I had been using ever since I moved to my previous home.
When I think about it, the previous move was around 2005-6, so
I had been using it for about 20 years!
The rubber part of the handle had already deteriorated and become sticky...
I could still use it if I put in some effort, but well, I had various thoughts about it, so
I threw it away!
I said goodbye to many other things as well.
This year, 2025, has seen some big, big changes.
It was a summer in 2025 where I wanted to cherish and carefully live each new day, while saying goodbye to things I had held onto for a long time with gratitude.
