The Hito-iro Exhibition is coming to Fukuoka Prefecture
In June, Asami Ishino's "Hito-iro Exhibition" in Kanazawa

Immediately after going there, what I thought was that I wanted to let people in many more, various regions besides Kanazawa meet the "Iro-no-ko" (color children).
I want to hold a "Hito-iro Exhibition".
Even though I love paintings but have no experience, I felt that I could surely hold one.
I love Asami Ishino's paintings.
The Iro-no-ko—every single one of them—are filled with light in their colors.
"Every person and every thing is made of light and love."
"Everyone is fine just as they are."
If written in words, it sounds thin and obvious, but these are important things that
when I am in front of Asami's paintings, I can deeply understand in the pit of my stomach.
The image I have of Asami is
gently picking up each color from the paint box one by one,
and talking to them, saying, "Show me your radiance."
Then, the Iro-no-ko jump out from the paints—that kind of scene.
With such an Asami,
the Iro-no-ko,
and me,
whether it's while shopping in the shopping district,
during a work break,
or in the middle of playing with children in the park behind,
I want to create a relaxing place where everyone can feel at ease,
together with those who drop by casually.
I am currently preparing to hold Asami Ishino's "Hito-iro Exhibition"
in Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture, where I live now.
Everyone on note, please come and visit.
Kurume City is not as urban as Fukuoka City, but because it is close to vegetable and fruit production areas, the food is delicious, and the people are kind and wonderful.
Famous people from here include Seiko Matsuda, Yo Yoshida, and Shojiro Ishibashi, the founder of Bridgestone.
It is 30 minutes by express train from the center of Fukuoka City, and 30 minutes by train to Dazaifu.
Let's go meet the Iro-no-ko

The gallery is located inside an arcade shopping street that continues from Nishitetsu Kurume Station.

There is a large display window in the front.

When my children were still small, it was painful not being able to look at paintings slowly at art museums. There were many places that didn't welcome people with children, and I was always wondering, "Is it okay to enter? Is it okay to be here?"
For people who feel like my past self, I intend to put up a sign at the entrance saying, "Children are welcome!"
The "Hito-iro Exhibition" @ Fukuoka, we look forward to seeing you there!
