Me and the Hito-iro Exhibition
The title is a topic from "Anko Haruka's Yosegaki RADIO," which I always listen to.
The whole thing started when I went to Kanazawa last year to see Asami Ishino's "Hito-iro Exhibition" (One Color Exhibition).

I thought I understood that Asami-san's paintings were wonderful from seeing them on note, but...
Look, real flowers and photos of flowers are completely different, aren't they? Asami-san's "Iro no Ko" (Color Children) were... well, they were simply overwhelming, full of vibrant energy, and were beings that were constantly vibrating even though they were still. The Color Children are alive. They move. I want you to come and meet them, because you'll understand once you do.
I've loved looking at paintings since I was a child, and I've often gone to art museums. I've traveled far to see exhibitions of my favorite artists or simply because I wanted to see a specific painting. I grew up with a mother and a younger brother who both painted, so I was familiar with the creative process as well.
So, I think that even among average adults, I have seen quite a wide variety of paintings.
However, there are very few paintings like Asami-san's that have a sense of approachability that doesn't force unnecessary tension on the viewer, while also being connected deeply and broadly to the sacredness and preciousness deep within the heart, the far reaches of the universe, and the beauty of nature.
Even for people who don't usually look at art, it will definitely reach them. We shouldn't keep the Color Children all to ourselves, just for those who were able to come to the "Hito-iro Exhibition" in Kanazawa or those who met them on note.
The Color Children want to meet many more people, further away! No, no, that's just me assuming things on my own.
And so, less than a week after returning from Kanazawa, I sent a message to Asami-san asking, "Why don't we hold the 'Hito-iro Exhibition' in Fukuoka?"
I am not an art expert, a wealthy patron, or a "mastermind" with powerful industry connections; I am just an ordinary housewife who happens to love art.
Even though I had no knowledge or experience, I thought, "I'll probably do it," and from the beginning, I thought, "Couldn't I do it?" So, I didn't even realize I was just daydreaming.
First, Asami-san, then Sachi and Peace-san from the "Hito-iro Exhibition @ Yokohama," and then the members of the "Hito-iro Exhibition @ Yokohama."
Ako Haruka, a member of the "Hito-iro Exhibition @ Fukuoka," my daughter Aoi,
those who submitted wonderful collaborative works,
those who supported and participated in the flower support,
those who introduced the "Hito-iro Exhibition @ Fukuoka" in their articles,
and above all, the note members who read this and support me, have taken an ordinary person like me,
carried me on their backs, held me, gently pushed me forward, and led me by the hand, and
finally, next week, the "Hito-iro Exhibition @ Fukuoka" will be held.
Thank you so much.
I am just a very lucky, overly blessed person. I'm gushing, aren't I?
The photos I posted first were dated "June 19, 2022."
In just one year, I'm doing something like this; it's a surprise.
