[My First Spice Curry] I want to keep eating it forever
I finally took on a long-held dream of mine: making curry from scratch using spices.

Last time, I bought a spice set and finished making the curry powder.
Today, I'll take it from there and actually make the curry.
The work continues as the aroma of curry drifts throughout the room.
Preparing the ingredients
[For the ingredients]
2 chicken thighs
2 tablespoons yogurt
1 tablespoon curry powder
Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces, season them, and put them in the fridge.
I figured the longer the better, so I did this before making the curry powder.

[Ingredients]
2 onions (about 300-400g)
*minced or thinly sliced
1 tablespoon minced ginger
200g canned whole tomatoes (I used a pack of cut tomatoes)
4 tablespoons salad oil (we used rice bran oil at home)
3 tablespoons curry powder
700cc water
*2 bouillon cubes
*1 1/2 teaspoons salt
(I used 1 tablespoon each of onion koji and salt koji instead)
*1 tablespoon mango chutney
(I used mashed banana instead)
[Instructions]
1. Put the oil and ginger in a deep frying pan and sauté until fragrant.
2. Add the onions and sauté for about 30 minutes until golden brown, being careful not to burn them.
*It took too long when I used a low heat, so it's faster to use a higher heat until they start to brown.

↓ This is how it turns out

The volume has decreased significantly.
3. Add the tomatoes and sauté briefly, then add the curry powder and sauté until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

4. Add the water, onion koji, and salt koji, and once it boils, add the chicken and banana.

5. Once it boils, turn the heat to low and simmer for about 20 minutes. Finally, taste and adjust with salt.

Simmer, simmer
Make it delicious
I feel like a witch while I'm making it!
Finally, it's done
【Easy Naan Making with Only 4 Ingredients】
I found a recipe for naan that doesn't require fermentation, so I'm going to try making it.
Sometimes I get a bit carried away.
【Ingredients】
Flour 200g
Yogurt 140g
Salt 2g
Olive oil 1 and 1/2 tablespoons
【Instructions】
1. Mix everything together at once and knead.

2. Once it comes together, let it rest for about 15 minutes.

3. Roll it out thin and cook it in a frying pan (no oil needed).

Done.
It was sticky and I wondered what would happen, but
it was fine once cooked.
Tasting time.

Choked up with the emotion of finally having made spice curry,
I take the first bite.
Is it spicy?
...No, it's sweet at first.
Then, the aroma of the spices gently wafts through.
The heat follows after,
but it's very mild.
It's not that spicy.
This is... delicious.
For some reason,
I can't stop.
I just can't stop...
I finished eating the naan in the blink of an eye.

This naan was exceptionally delicious, and the children ate it first.
However, there is also rice that I cooked just in case.
I can't help but go for seconds.
No matter how many bites I take, it's "delicious."
And the sweat slowly starts to ooze out.
It's not that spicy, yet I'm sweating. The power of spices is amazing.
I was moved by this as well.

I can keep eating and eating.
The feeling that I'm never quite full.
My stomach has gone crazy.
This is a phenomenon that occasionally happens in our house when we encounter something delicious.
I am definitely full.
And yet, I can still eat more.
It's as if the deliciousness has made me lose my mind.
I've made a curry so delicious that it makes your stomach go crazy.
That's what it is.

Common name: Stomach-Crazy Curry
There is still plenty of curry powder left.
Which means I can have this curry again.
I, the glutton, am already starting to think about the next time.
Preparation time: 2 hours.
