【The Essence of Electromagnetic Countermeasures】 Part 5: When the Earth and Cells Resonate
This time, I would like to talk about something a bit deeper.
The cellular level and the global scale.
Two topics that seem unrelated at first glance are connected by a single thread.
Mitochondria react to weak electromagnetic fields.
Mitochondria, the energy production factories of the cell, are themselves powerful electrochemical devices.
A potential difference of approximately 180mV is maintained across the inner mitochondrial membrane, which serves as the driving force for the production of ATP (the body's energy currency).
Research has shown that mitochondria react to specific weak electromagnetic fields.
In the field of photobiomodulation (mitochondrial activation via specific light and electromagnetic waves),
it is being confirmed that stimulation at appropriate frequencies and intensities activates mitochondria.
The important part is the word "appropriate."
Neither too strong nor too weak.
In toxicology, there is a concept called "hormesis."
It suggests that there are substances and stimuli that are beneficial in small amounts but harmful in large amounts.
Coffee, exercise, and sunlight are all beneficial in small amounts but harmful in excess.
It is possible that electromagnetic fields also have this response characteristic.
The natural electromagnetic environment created by the Earth is something that life has coexisted with throughout the long process of evolution.
On the other hand, the modern electromagnetic environment, filled with artificial noise, may exceed the "appropriate" range for mitochondria.
What happens when mitochondrial function declines?
ATP production decreases. Energy becomes insufficient. A type of fatigue arises for which no specific cause can be pointed to.
"Feeling somewhat tired," "not feeling refreshed even after getting enough sleep," "lacking motivation."
A part of the modern, unexplained chronic fatigue
might lie here.
Schumann resonance, the pulse of the Earth
Here, let us move on to
a global-scale discussion.
Between the Earth's surface and the ionosphere,
there exists an electromagnetic resonant cavity.
Lightning discharges occurring constantly around the world
act as an energy source,
and within this cavity,
a steady electromagnetic wave is maintained.
Its fundamental frequency isapproximately 7.83 Hz.
This is called the "Schumann resonance."
It is the Earth's inherent "pulse,"
theoretically predicted by physicist Schumann in 1952
and subsequently confirmed through actual measurements.
And there is a surprising coincidence.
The human alpha wave frequency band is 8–13 Hz.
It almost overlaps with the Schumann resonance.
This may not be a coincidence.
Life has evolved over 4 billion years
within the electromagnetic environment of the Earth.
During that time,
the Schumann resonance was always present on Earth.
The fact that brain waves
match the frequency band of the
Schumann resonance
might not be a coincidence,
but rather a result of co-evolution.
In other words,
a relaxed state dominated by alpha waves
might be a state synchronized with the Earth's fundamental frequency
.
In the early stages of space exploration,
unexplained physical ailments were reported by astronauts
who were cut off from the Earth's electromagnetic environment,
and there is a story that later,
devices that generate extremely low frequencies
corresponding to the Schumann resonance
were installed inside spacecraft.
If this is true,
it suggests that the Schumann resonance
is deeply involved in the physiological regulation
of the human body.
The reason we "recover" in the forest
When leaving the hustle and bustle of the city
and going into the forest or to the seaside,
many people have the feeling of "recovering for some reason."
Is that just a "change of pace"?
When artificial noise decreases and
the Earth's inherent Schumann resonance frequency
becomes relatively dominant,
our nervous system
becomes more easily synchronized with that frequency.
Alpha waves stabilize,
the parasympathetic nervous system becomes dominant,
and the body enters recovery mode.
Walking barefoot on the soil, known as 'earthing',
forest bathing,
and resting by a river.
If these have physiological effects,
there are parts that can be explainedreconnectionfrom the perspective of
with the Earth's electromagnetic environment.
Breathing is a way to take that synchronization into your own hands.
The gravitational pull of Schumann resonance is passive.
You can only utilize it directly
by placing yourself in that environment.
However, breathing is different.
Anytime,
anywhere,
by your own will,
you can guide your brain toward the alpha wave state.
Even in a crowded train filled with Bluetooth signals,
even in an office with LEDs,
even in a city filled with mobile phone signals.
Breathing is a technique to hold the Earth's gravitational pull in your own hands.
