Zen Mind and Midnight Jazz Time

Introduction to My Work
Today's Theme: Enyu-Mugon (Perfect Harmony in Silence)
Enyu-Mugon is a coined term that imagines a state where things are blended together, yet say nothing, where boundaries seem to exist but no longer do.
As the night deepens, the world begins to lose its contours.
During the day, we live with clear boundaries: you and I, right and wrong, strength and weakness.
But in the dead of night, these things gradually become rounded.
Enyu-Mugon: a state of being blended together, yet asserting nothing.
The jazz at this hour does not speak, does not lead, and does not seek understanding.
It simply lets notes gently overlap, drift apart, and return again.
The piano does not try to begin anything, and the bass does not try to end anything.
When vocals enter, they are not an explanation of emotion, but the temperature of existence.
You don't have to touch even if you get close; you don't have to try to understand each other.
Inside the circle, breathing quietly, just as you are.
This jazz is music that unties relationships; a conversation of sound for a night that doesn't measure distance.
JAZZ: Enyu-Mugon (Perfect Harmony in Silence)
Lyrics:
The night rounds out, erasing the corners of the room. At the bottom of the glass, time is melting.
You and I, we are overlapping, yet not touching anywhere. I like that distance.
Words are too thin; they cannot wrap around this silence.
So, remaining silent, I entrust myself to the shadow of the piano.
The bass
breathes low
the drums
trace the edges of a dream
Hey
I'm not anxious
I just
don't feel the need to confirm
A circle
has no beginning or end
the same place
there is no reason to search
Remaining silent
melting together
into a nameless night
sinking down
Even when morning comes
surely
I won't explain
leaving it as it is

Enyu-Mugen (perfect harmony in silence) is
not a time for understanding but
time that doesn't need to be dividedthat is why
Without naming emotions
without organizing anxieties
without defining love
Overlapping
drifting apart
and overlapping again
With just that
I am
living fully
When morning comes
again
the world of drawing lines begins
But
in this deep night
the feeling of being a circle
just a little
is enough to remember
No need to explain
no need to reach a conclusion
Remaining silent
and melting together
is already
JAZZ (music)
