Why can people write a '4-star' rating where the person themselves can see it?
I use a housekeeping service called CaSy.
Even for one-off requests, even on relatively short notice (like the day before),
they provide a cleaning cast member,
and they have battle-hardened ladies (in their 60s to 80s) on staff,
giving off a 'reliable mother super-warrior' vibe.
I've been a user for about five years now.
I've used other housekeeping services too, but
the ease of the booking flow,
the price,
the quality,
when you consider this balance,
I always end up back at CaSy.
—
Well, that being said,
CaSy, with its battle-hardened, reliable mother super-warriors,
occasionally
has an average cast member appear.
They provide normal customer service, and
they clean normally.
In terms of level, there's absolutely no problem.
But because the basic staff members are
such super-warriors,
I end up thinking,
'Something is just not quite hitting the spot.'
No.
As someone who is asking for their room to be cleaned,
I shouldn't be saying such extravagant things.
But, honestly,
compared to other cast members, they are inferior.
—
CaSy has a rating system.
Even if you don't want to send one, you have to.
If you don't, the top page
displays 'Please rate' in big letters every time.
So I have no choice but to write a review.
—
Stars.
A 5-point scale.
Hmm...
4.
(A 4 leaning towards 3)
—
Show more.
'Would you like to request this cast member again in the future?'
☑ YES (meaning I do not wish to request them)
'Reason for not requesting them
(This will not be sent to the cast member)'
—
Does that mean...
The number of stars is sent to the cast member themselves????
—
......
I'll change it to 5 stars.
—
I'll write honestly in the comment section.
'It became very clean.
However, compared to other cast members, I felt it didn't quite hit the spot.
But this is because my expectations are high, and
I am sufficiently satisfied with the service itself.'
—
Send.
—
At that moment, I suddenly thought.
The '4 stars' that sometimes arrive at SPAWhite.
Honestly, I receive them
with the feeling that anything other than 5 stars is a complaint.
But at the same time, I also think this.
'Why can people write 4 stars in a public place that the person themselves sees?'
Is it because we won't meet again?
Is it meant as a 'goodbye'?
—
If I were in the opposite position.
If I were given 4 stars by someone I had treated with all my heart,
wouldn't that be a bit unpleasant?
Maybe I'm just narrow-minded,
but at least I
wouldn't think, 'Alright, let's build an even better relationship with this person!'
(How small-hearted of me)
—
I think it's fine for Tabelog.
Even 4 stars or 3 stars.
What is being evaluated is
the food or
the environment.
Of course, customer service is included, but
basically, it's the 'restaurant'.
—
But.
CaSy, or
a treatment at SPAWhite, is
undeniably an evaluation of a human being.
—
The side buying the service
The side being bought
Before that.
The other person is
a person who definitely has feelings.
—
I felt there was something
we must not forget as human beings.
—
If I were to speak from the management's perspective.
If there are areas for improvement,
I would be happy if you just consulted with me normally 🙄
—
While valuing others,
valuing yourself too.
That kind of balance
is something I've been thinking about a lot lately.
These days.
—
Oh, CaSy itself is truly recommended.
