Tokyo Haiku: Summer x 100 Haiku Knockout

A Japanese summer, a Tokyo summer...

Doesn't just the sound of that make you feel like you could compose a haiku?

So, I, Tsunako, am doing a haiku project for the first time in a while!

Yay! Drumroll please!!

I held a haiku project like this last year.

Wow, looking back at it now, such an impressive group of people participated!

I was so grateful that they participated in a project by someone as inexperienced as me.

Last autumn, we all composed 59 Tokyo haiku together.

With the current number of members and skill level in the Haiku Kindergarten,

couldn't we compose 100 summer haiku that include Tokyo place names?

That's what I thought, so I decided to launch this project.

Also, when we compose together, we can get a 'haiku high'.

I'm feeling a bit of a 'haiku low' right now, so

I want to stimulate my brain with Tokyo haiku.

The rules are simple.

・Must include a summer kigo (seasonal word) and a Tokyo place name.

・One haiku per comment (because I want 100 comments to equal 100 haiku).

・No comments that are just small talk or jokes (for the same reason as above).

・You are welcome to post on your own note after writing here.

・Feel free to post and run.

Something like that. If you have any questions, please ask!

By the way, I have no plans to evaluate or critique your haiku.

I wish I could do something like Apollo-san's Haiku Park, but I lack the ability.

This is a list I made last year while coughing up blood.

If you can find good material for your haiku here, my past self will be rewarded.

Combining Tokyo place names with seasonal words often creates a 'clash of two objects' effect.

There is a possibility that unexpected masterpieces will be born.

Anyway, let's just give it a try!
