Proceed to the final tab!

It's time to set the price for your Kindle book!

First,
enrollment in KDP Select.

Check the box for [Enroll book in KDP Select].

Checking this box
makes it eligible for Kindle Unlimited.

Select [All territories] or

select individual territories and

check [Japan].

Either one is fine😊

Select Amazon.co.jp☺️

Royalty

You can choose between 35% or 70%.

When I published my first book, I chose 70% without thinking about it at all. lol

Usually 70% is fine, but there is actually a condition for this.

List Price

This part is a bit tricky, isn't it?🥹

You can set the price freely!

Since it was my first publication, I prioritized "getting people to pick it up first"‼️
I set "Harukana Ima" to the lowest price of 99 yen🤭

However, I didn't realize it at first, but there is something
I realized later

Even if you select 70%,
if it is 99 yen, the royalty will be 35%.

To get a 70% royalty,
you had to set the price to 250 yen or more😳

Here is an actual example

At 99 yen
the royalty is about 32 yen

At 249 yen
the royalty is about 79 yen

At 250 yen
the royalty is about 157 yen

From the buyer's perspective, the price difference is only 1 yen, but
there is a huge difference in the amount you can receive.
This was quite a shock😅

If you choose the 70% royalty rate,
you need to be careful about the price range conditions.

Once you've decided on the price,
it's finally time to publish!!

the sample might reveal quite a bit of the content.

checking the sample on the actual sales page is

something I felt was very important.

The second picture book I created based on that experience.

I wanted to experience the 70% royalty,
so I set the price at 250 yen😊✨

Of course,
it is eligible for Kindle Unlimited!!

The process after publishing

Once you publish, it enters the review process.

For your first publication,
it is safer to assume it will take about 72 hours☺️☺️

The second book passed the review relatively quickly!

Usually, it will be published in about 24 to 72 hours.😊

And once it passes the review,
your book will be listed on Amazon😭✨

If you proceed one step at a time,
