|Hayato stuffs his cheeks with the piping hot pork miso soup.
In the cold room, the steam from the soup stands out.

"Hayato-san, I'm fine, so please take your time eating."
"But the broken air conditioner won't be fixed until the day after tomorrow, right?"
"Hehe, you know I don't get cold, don't you? Please don't worry."

I bring in the laundry and head out to the supermarket to shop.

2:00 PM.
The 3°C temperature stings my cheeks.

"Ugh, the wind is so strong. Since the air conditioner is my only heating appliance... Ah, I wonder what I should get for tomorrow's bento."
"Hayato-san, there was a delicious-looking, budget-friendly meat recipe on TV yesterday that lets you get plenty of vegetables. 150 yen per serving."
"Seriously! Maybe I'll go with that.♬"

Pitter-patter...
Whoosh...
Large raindrops attacked.

"What! The sky is bright, but... a passing shower?! Mito-san, over here!"
Hayato ducks into the entrance of a nearby apartment building, but Mito watches him without moving.

"Geez, Hayato-san, you really are a worrier. I can pass right through rain, so I don't get wet."

Mito glides a few centimeters above the puddles, tells him she'll go check the sales first, and heads to the supermarket alone.

Pork miso soup when it's cold really warms you to the core, doesn't it?✨
I love konjac, so I put in a ton.

I always add pumpkin or sweet potato!
It adds a sweetness that's delicious🍠🎃

Shichimi or ginger are good too, but
I recommend yuzu kosho🍊✨
