Reading journals are amazing! My child wanted to try one, so I made it.

I read books.
But I forget the content right away, tee-hee.

That is true.
I think it is common to forget the important parts even after taking the time to read.

That is where
reading journals come in.

Three amazing things about reading journals

Well, there are many reasons,

but the other day, while I was writing in my reading journal, I bragged about it a little,
and my son (7 years old) seemed interested.

He started saying,

"I want to do that (reading journal) starting tomorrow."

Store-bought ones are nice, but
many of the formats are for people who read stories.

My son often borrows books about animals and insects, so
the format didn't fit.

I thought about looking for a format for informational texts, but
isn't it a hassle to look for one?

Isn't it faster to just make it?
