“The color of the sunset sky”
A warm and bright color.
It is also a color with a touch of sadness.
At first, because it was Brilliant + Orange,
I expected it to be a much more cheerful color.
So, what I tried drawing
was an active child in overalls.
But it felt a bit like forced cheerfulness,
and it didn't feel quite right.
As I looked at the color again,
the image of a sunset sky came to mind.
The evening sky on a day spent playing a lot.
The feeling of the heart settling down with satisfaction and sadness.
The sun setting with overwhelming scale.
Thinking of such a sunset sky I once saw,
I drew this child.
