The 30-Year Breakfast Artisan's Ulaanbaatar Extra Edition: The DIY Puzzle of Encountering Yoshinoya Locally.

Good morning.
Due to flight schedules this morning, I plan to have breakfast at Ulaanbaatar Airport.

That said, I'd like to share yesterday's lunch because it was such a fresh experience (lol).

I was craving a "beef-based" flavor, so I went into a Yoshinoya I found locally... but I was surprised when it arrived!
Unlike the beef bowls in Japan, it was packed with large chunks of carrots and broccoli.
But it was delicious! The balance between the savory meat and the vegetables was exquisite, and it perfectly completed my "nutritional puzzle" on this trip in an unexpected way.

By the way, it seems Yoshinoya is positioned as a mid-range, slightly upscale dining spot locally, and the menu varies from store to store.

Seeing the familiar orange sign blending into the foreign cityscape gave me a strange sense of relief.

At home, I stoically manage my inventory with my "four staple" seasonings as my partners, but once I step outside, I entrust my stomach to the local professionals.
Not being too obsessed with perfection, and even turning a familiar chain restaurant into a joy of travel and eating with a smile—this is my "ally in housework" and a system that enriches my life.

I'm heading to Japan now, burning the vibrant cityscape of Ulaanbaatar into my memory.
