After the Choral Festival
The town's choral festival was held at the town hall on October 3rd.
Taiju High School has one class per grade level.
A total of three classes performed one set piece and one free-choice piece each.
Despite the limited time, the singing voices, honed through repeated practice, were truly wonderful in every class, and it was so moving that it brought tears to my eyes.

It seems I wasn't the only one moved by it,
and when it was over, many people, including the students, were in tears.
To conclude, the teachers also performed a full-hearted chorus, which delighted everyone. I could feel their love for the students.

While waiting for the judging results,
the student council inauguration ceremony was also held, and the speeches from the outgoing and incoming members were excellent.

In a time when some schools don't even have a choral festival,
holding it in the town's best hall with parents in attendance was very meaningful, and I believe the students were able to experience a sense of accomplishment.
Even for students who usually seem listless or talk back,
seeing them demonstrate their strength on a stage like this made me feel like I was witnessing their hidden potential,
and it was a wonderful event that made me want to further engage with them in a way that draws out their true abilities and curiosity.
