Type 0 Observation Seaplane☆Masamichi Noyori

I went to see a full-scale model of the Type 0 Observation Seaplane

that was carried on the battleship Yamato.

It is currently on display at the Yamato Museum satellite, which is undergoing renovations.

This aircraft is definitely the main highlight.

Seeing it up close, it was larger than I imagined,

and thinking that this was actually launched from the Yamato,

it had an intensity that made it feel like more than just an exhibit.

I have been watching several war-themed movies lately,

which made me think once again about the meaning of living in a peaceful era.

The technology and resolve of the past, and prayers for peace.

You can feel that many thoughts and emotions were poured into these wings.
