My Dolphin Plushies
Bottlenose Dolphin
When you think of dolphins, the most famous one is the bottlenose dolphin. Original aquarium bottlenose dolphin plushies were sold at Suma Aqualife Park, Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium, and Adventure World. There are many other cute commercially available bottlenose dolphin plushies, but these two are the absolute best.

(Left) Suma Aqualife Park Realistic Bottlenose Dolphin Plushie Size S
Beautifully captures the dolphin's sleek body line. The body color is a warm, perfect shade of gray. The placement of the eyes is exquisite, and the adorable expression is a high point.
(Right) Adventure World Dolphin Plushie Size M
A chubbier build than typical dolphin plushies, reminding me of a dolphin's voluminous torso. The refreshing blue color, the large pectoral fins, and the peek of the tongue are all very cute.
Pacific White-sided Dolphin
Pacific white-sided dolphins are seen just as often as bottlenose dolphins at aquariums. However, there are far fewer plushies of them than bottlenose dolphins. I have confirmed original plushies for sale at Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, Kinosaki Marine World, Adventure World, Marinepia Nihonkai, and Notojima Aquarium, and commercially available ones are sold by Colorata. I feel like there aren't even 10 types of Pacific white-sided dolphin plushies available in Japan. That's how rare they are. If you see one, it's a rare find, so grab it immediately.

(Left) Kinosaki Marine World Pacific White-sided Dolphin Medium Size
Made with firm boa fabric and stuffed with plenty of cotton for a stiff feel, this is a classic dolphin plushie style. Since Pacific white-sided dolphin plushies are often made with short-pile fabric, this is a rare item. The complex patterns are properly expressed in black and gray. The face seen from the front is very cute and looks like a chinstrap penguin.
(Right) Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan Plushie Pacific White-sided Dolphin Female
Made with the squishy material that has been popular in recent years. For some reason, many Pacific white-sided dolphin plushies are posed curled inward, but this one is arched. It is also rare to have variations for male and female versions. The short-snouted shape of the Pacific white-sided dolphin is well-deformed, resulting in a very adorable finish.
Finless Porpoise
A small dolphin species kept at six aquariums in Japan. They have a very cute appearance, and while people often think their body color is white, it is actually gray. Original plushies were sold at Toba Aquarium, Miyajima Aquarium, and Marine World Uminonakamichi. Commercially available finless porpoise plushies are quite rare, perhaps only the one sold by Sakae Shoji.

This might be the only plushie in the world that reproduces the rare body shape of the finless porpoise so well. Regarding the color, while many finless porpoise plushies are white, this one is gray, which is closer to the real thing. The pectoral and tail fins are made of thick material, making it a well-made plushie. The smiling expression is also not too exaggerated and is very cute.
Colorful Dolphins
Colorful dolphins that are not of the realistic type.

Joetsu City Aquarium Umigatari Joetsu Squishy Dolphin M Baby Pink Baby Blue
The baby pink and baby blue colors are just so cute, and they are the best when displayed together. They are squishy to the touch and can also be used as a body pillow.

Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium Fluffy Dolphin
The marble pattern is beautiful and has a tropical feel. I would buy a pink version if there was one.

AQUA Plushie Dolphin "Irutan" SS Rainbow Marine
I really like these rainbow, or rather, aurora-like patterns. It's not exclusive to the aquarium, but I ended up buying it anyway.

Kamogawa Sea World Orca Lottery 5th Prize Blue
When I went to Kamo-Sea, everyone was holding one of these, so I wanted one too and tried the orca lottery. I'm not even that into orcas, but I fell in love with this one and tied a ribbon from the luxury cosmetic brand Dior to its tail fin.
