The Importance of Knowing Your Limits
People's desires are endless.
I want more money
I want a better life
I want to be more appreciated
Before you know it, you're overflowing with "more and more."
But what would happen if you followed all those desires?
Your money, time, and peace of mind
would all wear away in an instant.
If you look around, there are many people who shine.
When you open social media,
it seems like everyone is doing better than you.
You end up comparing yourself,
and feeling like you have to do the same.
But is that really
the happiness you desire?Values are different for everyone.
Happiness for someone else is not necessarily happiness for you.
That is why what matters is
knowing yourself.
・What do you really want to do? ・What kind of time feels comfortable?
・What kind of person do you want to be in the future?
You look at those things one by one.
Knowing your limits is not
about giving up.
Rather, I think it is about
identifying what is truly important to you.
Money spent on vanity
Time spent forcing yourself to fit in
Those might give you a moment of satisfaction, but they don't last long.
When you realize it,
you might feel empty, wondering,
"What am I working so hard for?"
That is why I want to
live at my own pace and by my own values
.Instead of stretching myself thin, I will keep my feet firmly on the ground.
I will continue to make choices that suit who I am now.
I believe that what lies ahead is a "happiness without strain."
You only live once.
It is not a life for anyone else.
I want to understand myself and walk my own path.
