Releasing Multiple Apps in Half a Year from Zero Knowledge | ChatGPT=Mentor x Gemini=Consultant x Claude=Manager x Human=Worker | Vibe Coding and Skill Acquisition

The target audience for this article series is

those who want to acquire technical skills using AI.

You will be able to do various things, from vibe coding, image editing, and website creation to server construction.
This time, it's about the basics of how to use AI. (My own way, that is.)

It is possible to develop apps and create websites by yourself.

Starting from zero knowledge

In June 2025, I had zero knowledge of programming or servers.
Even so, I was able to release multiple apps in half a year.
Just by "making AI your mentor," the difficulty of self-study drops dramatically.

[Things I became able to do in half a year]

・App development
・Server construction
・Image editing
・Video editing
・Website production
・Google Ads management
・Analytics analysis
・Passing App Store and Google Play reviews
・Business opening notification and invoice registration

I was able to do all of this by myself. It didn't even take that much time.
All I needed was the monthly AI subscription fee.

The link above shows the deliverables.
Kintai KENGO is a time and attendance management system using QR codes.
Photo Ledger KENGO is an app that allows you to take photos with signs for construction work, etc.,
and create construction ledgers on your smartphone.
(Photo Ledger KENGO is scheduled to be released in the first week of March.)

Learning from the AI that learned

AI makes mistakes

It's a contradiction to say I'm learning, but
AI makes mistakes just like anyone else.
With ChatGPT from a little while ago,

Me: "It seems ChatGPT 5.1 has been released!"
ChatGPT 5.1: "As of November 2025, there is no such fact."

Conversations at that level were common.
That's why it's important to "learn from AI while doubting AI."
No matter how much AI evolves, checking with your own searches is essential.

So how do you learn?

It's simple.

Convey what you want to do correctly.
Learn how to use it.

That's all there is to it.

For example, let's say you want to create an image.Let's assume that.

About image composition

The conversation above is about the process of wanting to composite images to post on a website to make them easier to see.
At the time, I didn't know how to edit images.
When I tell it what I want to do, it usually suggests two or three options.

If it's free, Photopea is the only choice!

It also teaches you how to use it.
If you don't understand each operation at any given time, you just have to ask.

A fairly important technique

Let's provide screenshots.

On Windows, use Shift+Windows key+s and
on Mac, use Shift+Command+4 to
take a screenshot of a specified area.
Once you've taken it, paste it into the chat with Ctrl+v.

AI image recognition is very excellent, and
if you provide a screenshot, it will mostly understand it.
It also teaches you how to handle it, so it really is a mentor.

Like this

AI also makes mistakes

If you use the same thread for a long time,
the conversation will stop making sense.
In such cases, let's move to the next thread.

Introduction to each AI

My personal pricing recommendations (as of March 1, 2026)

ChatGPT=
Plus (3,000 yen), or Business (3,900 yen)

Gemini=
Google AI Pro (2,900 yen)
Comes with 2TB of cloud storage, which is a great deal!

Claude=
Pro ($20), if possible MAX ($100)

If you're unsure, for daily use go with ChatGPT, for research go with Gemini, and for long text go with Claude
and you generally won't go wrong.

My personal usage methods for each AI

ChatGPT=
Mentor. A veteran. From business plans to daily consultations,
from product design to proofreading notes, it can do anything.
The people behind it change often, but I still love it.

Gemini=
Consultant. Strong. Research, standard image generation (it's a bit weak with Kanji).
When researching procedures for something (like how to start a note, for example),
it is extremely capable.
Personally, I find its advice a bit lacking in human touch...

Claude=
Manager. An honor student. Good at long content.
Bring on 30,000 lines of code!
Recently, it tends to have its spotlight stolen by Codex and Antigravity (which uses Claude internally).
I don't ask it for personal advice.
A business-like relationship.

Human=
Worker. Are you using AI, or are you being used by it?
If it's fun, either is fine.
Long live the dystopia.

Bonus

Other apps I use

Codex and Antigravity
These are apps that allow you to manipulate code across multiple files through natural conversation.
I will introduce them in more detail in a separate article.

Photopea
In short, it's like a free version of Photoshop.
It has sufficient performance for individual developers.

CapCut
Video editing software. Free.
I have no particular complaints about its features. It's necessary and sufficient.

Summary

In this series of articles, I will share my personal approach to utilizing AI.
In short, it was just saying that I use ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. This time was just an introduction to the AI, but
next time I would like to explain in a bit more detail
how to do programming using AI.

Thank you for reading.
I have posted the next one, so please check that out as well if you'd like.

Oh, and I'd be happy if you could read my childhood memories as well.
