"Salt restriction is the root of all diseases," and the key to heatstroke prevention is to consume plenty of salt!
Recently, I feel like I've been getting less tired because I've been consuming more salt than before.
Dr. Nakamura has summarized the benefits of salt in an easy-to-understand way.
Actually, since I started salt water therapy and began drinking salt water, I no longer wake up in the middle of the night needing to go to the bathroom.
I was surprised by this!
I understood the reason after reading Dr. Nakamura's article on the "Benefits of Salt."

During sleep, the parasympathetic nervous system is supposed to be dominant.
The bladder becomes like a soft balloon, allowing it to hold a lot of urine. That is how it should be.
However, if the sympathetic nervous system is tense due to things like salt restriction, the bladder tends to contract even during sleep, causing you to wake up at night to go to the bathroom.
Therefore, the quickest way to prevent nocturia is to consume plenty of salt.
Until recently, I avoided drinking water before bed because it would make me want to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
However, since I started salt water therapy a while ago, even if I drink a large amount of salt water right before bed, I no longer wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom.
I am surprised at the incredible force and volume of urine that comes out when I go to the bathroom after waking up in the morning 🤭
I am impressed that I don't wake up in the middle of the night despite having so much urine stored up.
As the quoted text says...
"The bladder becomes like a soft balloon, allowing it to hold a lot of urine."
This was true.
It's strange how it's hard to drink a large amount of plain water, but I can easily drink salt water...
Recently, I've been enjoying drinking regular mineral water as a chaser for my salt water.
The salt referred to here is not "refined salt" but "natural salt"
I use "rock salt," which is not affected by microplastics!
I plan to write in detail about the salt I love in another article🤭
Mademoiselle Ai-sensei also says at the beginning of the video below (around 1 minute and 15 seconds)...
"For heatstroke, saltis actually more important thanwater."
"I think that if you consume salt along with water, you can prevent most of it."
She says🤭 (As expected of Ai-sensei)
To David, who works under maximum stress while drinking four cups of coffee a day...
"What you should be drinking is not coffee, but salt water."
I hold back the urge to say that and serve him coffee with a cookie☕️
When you are tired, you need "salt," not "sugar"!!!!
I heard an interesting story in the comments section of the article above, so I'm sharing it✨
When Cheburashka, who lives in Russia, went to the ceremony for the 95th anniversary of the birth of the Russian painter Ilya Glazunov, the priest said this before starting the prayer:
"What is important for living is salt. Salt is... Salt is..."
That's what he said.
The Russian government has been enforcing a law since 2016 that restricts the import and cultivation of genetically modified crops. (It was enacted due to concerns about the safety of genetically modified crops.)
Efforts are also being made toward organic farming due to concerns about the effects of pesticides on the body.
It is clear that they are trying to protect their citizens.
So, getting off track here💦
In the Kanto region, where it will be getting hot starting next week, natural salt is essential for heatstroke prevention!
I will write about my "recommended salt" in another article.
