The main purpose of my temporary return to Japan this time (May 16th to July 11th) was to go to the dentist🦷

June 13th, 6th day of treatment

On this day, I had treatment scheduled for two slots, morning and afternoon...

In the morning, the base for my front teeth was inserted and adjusted.

Dr. Hashimoto made the root treatment using fiber (usually pink rubber material) and the base using zirconia (usually metal is used).

Using good materials so that it lasts as long as possible...

That morning, I received a message from an acquaintance.

I went to Hashimoto Dental yesterday. It was interesting to hear various things.
I chuckled when I heard that the doctor himself is full of cavities.

I probably won't have to make any more useless trips to the dentist in the future. Thank you.

Yes, Dr. Hashimoto stayed up late making Ranmika-san's teeth, so his eyes were tired. It's nice when your teeth become beautiful.

Since he can't find a dentist with better skills than himself, he treats what he can by himself, but it seems he leaves most of it as is...

After a one-hour lunch break, the afternoon was for taking impressions.

The bite, and the impressions of the lower and upper teeth were taken, and that was it.

I was surprised that he wrapped silk thread around my tooth so that the boundary between the gum and the tooth would be visible.

I take my hat off to the doctor for his dedication to treatment, constantly coming up with creative solutions.

After this, he made a temporary tooth, fine-tuned it, bonded it, and it was finished without any issues.

Only 2 days left...

June 22nd - 7th day of treatment

The clinic was only open in the morning today🦷

When he attached the finished final tooth, the color and shape were not quite right💦

Dr. Hashimoto looked a bit troubled and said,

Since I don't make them myself, they often don't come back exactly as I envisioned...

I will double-check the fine details and have them corrected to the desired color and shape.

My mind was racing with anxiety: "Will it be okay? The remaining appointment is the last one on July 3rd..."

The worry crossed my mind.

"Mr. Langford, let's book one more day just in case," said Dr. Hashimoto, and I felt relieved🍀

I managed to secure a slot for 2:30 PM on July 10th.

This day, there was nothing more to do, so we finished up.
