A Wedding at a Place of Memories...
I heard Jim and Amanda's wedding would start just after 4:00 PM.
We arrived right around that time...
Their family and friends had gathered for the first time in a while and were chatting.
I was relieved it hadn't started yet🤗
David had a long-awaited reunion with Jim's mother🌈

Jim's mother stood out, and her yellow beret and skirt matched beautifully🌈
The fact that she was wearing sandals was unique to a garden party🤣

Amanda was waiting with her two sons who would escort her...
Jim rang a bell and declared, "The wedding ceremony begins now!"🌈

He guided the guests to the ceremony site.

We all walked together through the woods across from the house...
Beyond that was a large tree🌳

It was a place of memories where the two, who had been dating for nearly two years, would make up every time they had a fight🌈
They said they had decided long ago, "We'll have our wedding here!"💖

A Muslim friend acted as the officiant and led the ceremony.
After Jim presented Amanda with a ring, they both signed the marriage certificate, two friends signed as well, and then Amanda read a letter.

Jim gave a thank-you speech to the guests, and when he read the advice about marriage written in a book he received from Amanda, the content was so funny that everyone burst into laughter~🤗

After the wedding ceremony, we all walked back along the path we had come.

After this, a meal was served in the garden.

The hungry guests helped themselves to the food that was brought out...
Today's menu🌈
Couscous and pumpkin seed salad✨

Quinoa and goat cheese salad✨
Plenty of pomegranate too~💕

Salad with freshly picked vegetables (lettuce, cucumber, tomato)🥗

Hummus and flatbread are also lined up... everything is handmade👏

Hummus is a paste made by mashing boiled chickpeas with garlic, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and other ingredients.
It's delicious when you dip vegetable sticks into it✨
And now, today's main attraction✨ A whole roasted lamb~🌈

It's a mystery how it was roasted🤣
Jim carved it up like a chef✨

We couldn't possibly eat it all in one day...

Jim is all set to make lamb stew with the leftover meat and bones👏
I've never seen a whole roasted lamb before😲

Once the guests were full...

It's dessert time~💖

Jim's mom, Amanda, and a female relative? appeared with dessert🌈
Vegan & gluten-free berry cake💕

Even I, who can't have wheat flour, can eat this~🤣

I got so absorbed in the berry cake that I didn't end up eating this, so I never found out what it was💦
And, is this a universal thing?
The bride & groom's cake cutting time~💕

The two of them have such wonderful smiles✨ Truly at the peak of happiness~💕
Guests enjoy dessert and continue chatting🌈
After 8 PM, some people started heading home one by one, saying their goodbyes...
The guests staying overnight will head into the evening party next✨
It's getting long, so the rest will be in the next post~🤗
Stay tuned for more🌈
