Cirque du Soleil's Corteo, showcasing supple and resilient bodies

Yesterday, I went to London with David, tickets for Cirque du Soleil in hand, which I bought cheaply from a friend🚆

I bought them for 100 pounds each instead of 130, so 200 pounds (about 38,500 yen) for the two of us
It's quite a price, but we splurged as an early Valentine's Day celebration🥰

It seems they also had performances in Japan in 2022🇯🇵

We arrived at the nearest station an hour before the show started, and since we didn't have much time, we went to our favorite Japanese restaurant, Tombo🇯🇵

I had the tonkotsu ramen🍜

David ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen🍜

We made sure to have dessert too😂

I had the matcha mont blanc sundae🍵

David had the cherry blossom cheesecake🌸

David isn't a fan of matcha or hojicha-based desserts, so this was about the only thing he could eat😅

After our meal, we took a taxi to the Royal Albert Hall✨

We entered through door number 9...

And headed to our seats💺

They were pretty good seats

Since it was a Friday night, it was almost completely full✨

Once the show started, everyone's eyes were glued to the stage👀

The performers, with their supple and toned bodies, flew around rhythmically from place to place🎪

Spinning around in a large hoop ♻️

A performer who turned into a golf ball almost got swung by a golf club 😱

There was even a scene where the little woman floated down to the audience seats on a large balloon...

It was quite fun 🤭

There was a 20-minute intermission halfway through...

The curtain rose again, and the show started ✨

The juggler 🤹 dropped the pins a few times, but that was just part of the charm 😂

So, I ended up taking a lot of videos 😂

It ended with great satisfaction 👏

I'm so glad I came to see it after all 🥰

Cirque du Soleil comes around this time every year.
I want to see it again next year~ 🥰

I didn't see any Japanese dancers in yesterday's show, but there was actually a Japanese dancer.

MOMOKA-san ✨

Her moves were so sharp 💃
Her dancing skills are genius 👏

No wonder she can dance for Cirque du Soleil 🤣

Unfortunately, it seems the BAZZAR show she was in ended this past January 😭

I wish I could have seen BAZZAR, which she performed in 🎪
