The Beginning of the Neptune in Aries Era
From January 27, 2026, Neptune will move into Aries.
The celestial body known as Neptune
What do we believe in, and where do we surrender ourselves as we live?
Neptune is a celestial body that acts upon what we believe in before we even realize it, and often without us noticing. It is not something we can consciously perceive like willpower or judgment; rather, it seeps into our inner selves like air or emotion, without us being aware of it. We make choices every day based on our feelings and sensations, but many of these are deeply tied to the atmosphere of the times, the mood of society, and collective emotions. Neptune is the celestial body that unconsciously shapes those 'feelings we assume are our own.'
When Neptune is at work, the world begins to take on a somewhat mysterious meaning. Coincidences feel like destiny, suffering becomes a story, and it begins to seem as though salvation is prepared for the future. Perhaps it is because of this influence that people can live without losing hope. On the other hand, this same power can become a fog that diverts our eyes from reality. Facts we do not wish to see become blurred, and we become more prone to believing in convenient interpretations. Under Neptune, ideals and illusions are not clearly distinguished.
Furthermore, Neptune gently dissolves boundaries—between self and others, reality and dreams, and rightness and ambiguity. While empathy and healing spread, it can also become difficult to see the outlines of oneself or where responsibility lies. Neptune is a trans-Saturnian planet, acting more on the deep psychology of a generation or an entire era than on an individual life. We cannot choose its influence, but we should be able to notice what kind of dream we are living in.
Reading Neptune is not about predicting the future. It is about re-examining where the things we thought were our own will actually came from. I believe that is what it means to understand the celestial body of Neptune.
Neptune in Pisces
Until now, Neptune has been positioned in the sign of Pisces. After a retrograde period in 2025, it will move forward. Pisces is a comfortable sign for Neptune, an area where its power is most naturally and strongly exerted. Therefore, looking back at this entire era, it can be considered a time when the priority placed on 'merging' and 'feeling' was extremely high.
During the Neptune in Pisces era, we must have experienced the sensation of boundaries becoming blurred on a daily basis. However, because this progressed unconsciously, there may have been many who felt tired without knowing why. On the other hand, fields like spirituality and healing became much more accessible, and there were increasing situations where 'kindness' and 'reading the room' were valued over correctness or rationality. Empathy was greatly heightened, and I think a sensitivity to perceive the pain and wishes of others as if they were one's own spread throughout society.
As a personal impression, I feel that 2025 was a year when 'audition-style' programs, which had been gaining popularity beneath the surface, were strongly highlighted. Rather than simply competing for talent, viewers savored, empathized with, and supported the dreams, struggles, and the very lives of the challengers. It seems that both the deep empathy of Pisces and the heat of the 'challenge' of the upcoming Aries were flowing into it at the same time. It was likely a phenomenon unique to this transitional period of the era.
And as of January 2026, looking at X, I feel that an attitude of 'cynicism' is spreading as a mood. It is a stance of keeping one's distance and observing without emotional attachment toward those who call themselves geniuses or those who proclaim ideals with strong words, thinking, 'Yeah, sure.' Rather than mere malice, this looks like a reaction of trying to peel oneself away from the collective consciousness as we shift our awareness from the Pisces-based collective consciousness—which was grounded in acceptance and empathy—to the unit of the 'individual.'
Perhaps it is precisely because we have gone through an era of merging that people are now trying to regain the outline of 'themselves' little by little.
What changes when Neptune enters Aries?
Aries is a sign that symbolizes the power of 'beginnings,' 'will,' and 'I want to do this.' When Neptune enters this sign, the dreams and ideals we have only felt in our hearts until now will begin to connect with 'action' little by little. The atmosphere of the era itself will shift from the Pisces time of prioritizing merging and feeling toward a direction of 'moving,' 'standing up,' and 'trying.'
This influence will first appear within us. Things we could have let slide with a 'well, that's fine' or 'this is probably how it should be based on the atmosphere' will start to bother us deep in our hearts for some reason. If you move forward while leaving 'what you really want to do' ambiguous, you will be more likely to feel emptiness rather than satisfaction, and having your own will becomes unavoidable. Since Aries also has an impulsive side, more people will likely feel sensations of wanting to do something without knowing why, or wanting to start something even though it is scary. However, because Neptune is involved, there will not be clear conviction from the start. The feeling of 'I don't know why, but I am drawn to this' will be the correct entrance to this era.
It is also expected that the way spirituality and healing exist will change. Beyond just talking, learning, and being healed, the question of 'So, how are you acting?' and 'So, what are you choosing to live for?' will naturally arise. In the era of Neptune in Aries, awakening and healing will likely be tested not as concepts, but as a way of life itself.
Possible points in a list!
• A lifestyle of reading the room and conforming will gradually feel suffocating. • Dreams and ideals will shift from things to talk about to 'things to set in motion, even if small.' • Choosing while leaving your true feelings ambiguous will leave more emptiness than satisfaction. • Even without seeing the finished form, more people will start moving based on impulses or a sense of discomfort. • It will be asked not 'do you believe in that,' but 'are you living that.' • A stance of choosing and stepping forward on your own will be valued more than passive salvation. • Spirituality and healing will be reflected in daily actions rather than knowledge or words. • Awakening and self-understanding will appear as changes in lifestyle, not just internal sensations. • 'What do I want to do?' will become the criterion for judgment rather than 'can I empathize with this?' • Choices made for the reason 'because I am drawn to it' will increase, rather than 'because it is the correct answer.' • Having your own will will be required rather than dissolving into someone else's ideals or vision. • More people will try to stand as an 'individual,' even if it means leaving behind a group or values that feel safe.
What this movement teaches us
The movement of Neptune into Aries sends us the message that "your dreams are not something to be entrusted to someone else, but something you must live out yourself."
During the Neptune in Pisces era, there was a strong underlying sense that we could be saved by leaning on others, merging with them, and empathizing; however, that kindness sometimes blurred our own boundaries and led to putting our own will on the back burner. With Neptune entering Aries, we can no longer just "feel" or "wish." Dreams and ideals are no longer things that someone else will fulfill for us, nor are they things that are completed just by talking about them; they are changing into things we offer to this world through our own choices and actions.
What is required in this era is not aggressive self-assertion, but a quiet determination to say, "This is how I will live."
Kindness, too, will change its form from continuing to accommodate others to a stance of standing up while accepting the possibility of being hurt.
From an era of being protected by merging with others, to an era of engaging with the world by standing as yourself.Isn't Neptune in Aries, while offering healing, simultaneously urging us to live with resolve?
If you currently feel a wavering in some part of your heart, thinking, "But I'm still scared" or "I don't know if this is really okay," that is perfectly natural.
The time of Neptune in Aries does not provide certainty from the start. Rather, it quietly encourages you to "take a step forward even while you don't know." You don't need to have the perfect answer, and it doesn't have to be in a form that others recognize. As long as you hold onto what you feel "drawn to for some reason" or "cannot stop doing for some reason" without denying it, that is enough.
In the coming era, kindness will surely not continue in the form of patience or self-sacrifice.
However, you don't need to force yourself to be strong, and you don't need to change in a hurry. Just please don't take the question "What do I really want to do?" away from yourself. I believe that treating that question with care is the most sincere way to live through the time of Neptune in Aries.
The very act of you standing as yourself, choosing, and moving will, as a result, become a light for someone else.
Your dreams are not things to be held up in the distance, but things you can build up and shape little by little through your small daily choices.
It is okay to be with your fear and anxiety. It is okay to remain uncertain. That step you take, trying to live as yourself, is already resonating with this new era.
Thank you for reading. 🌸
I am grateful for the miracle of being able to spend this era together.
