“Independence” starts with just “realizing” it😉‼️~
“Independence”
When you hear that, how do you feel⁉️😌
Right now, even in society
regarding “the future of Japan”
the independence of each individual is being questioned,or encouraged🧐
When you think “I must be independent☝️”
When you are told “You must be independent🫵”
I think everyone has different thoughts,
and feelings that come up🤲
Independence = feeling like I'll be lonely😢
I have to do my best all by myself!💪💦
I can't show my weakness😣
I must not rely on others!🙅
I have to live on money I earned myself💰💦
and so on
feelings of fear and anxiety🫨
towards yourself
Or,
Independence = having to leave someone behind 😭
I might make someone sad 😥
I might make someone angry, and
I might have a scary experience 😱
I might make someone unhappy 🥺
and so on
versus, anxiety towards someone 🫨
“Independence”If you feel uneasy when you hear the word,
“I think that, at the very least,
these feelings might be
stuck somewhere inside you!? 🤔”
I think.
I used to be like that too... 🥺
I was raised by a father who was very strict about life education,
and from a young age,
I was raised with an education that valued “independence”.
👨☝️ “Don't let them become dependent!”
From the time I was 3 or 4, I had to sleep in a separate room from my parents with my younger sister 😢
👨☝️ “So you don't drown and lose your life!”
I was taken to swimming school from the age of 4, and when we went to the beach as a family, we would ride in a boat,
“If you don't want to die, swim back!”
and I would be thrown out in the open water 😭
👨☝️ "Get a skill so you can make a living on your own❗️"
I was told that all the time😅
And like a mantra,
"Don't rely on anyone‼️"
is what I was told as I grew up😂
So, while it was good that my "self-reliance" grew,
I grew up without having any idea how to interact with "relying on others"🥺
"Relying on others👥"
was something
I naturally came to think of as
"a bad thing🙅, becoming a useless person😭"
and that assumption,
created
"relying on others is a nuisance🥺"
"because it's a nuisance to rely on them, they won't accept me😣"
"because I won't be accepted, I'll end up lonely and isolated😭"
which
"a fear of human relationships"😱
I
created.
So,
even when I wanted to do something,
I couldn't honestly ask about tasks I was bad at or didn't understand, and that's where I would
hit a wall😩
I would try to follow my heart,
but whenever I hit another wall,
"I'm done for😔"
and,
setback😭
Since there were no smartphones like today, and it was an era where you couldn't easily reach solutions on your own,
a solution to overcome the wall💡
myself who couldn't reach,
blaming myself and feeling frustrated😫💦
blaming myself and feeling frustrated😫💦
I have repeated this over and over😣
Even if I wanted to do something,
the 'conclusion' of the storyI couldn't create it. My life
I thought I was becoming a half-baked, useless person😫
and it was a very painful time🥺
However, after entering my 30s and starting this job (spiritual counselor),
I realized that 'true independence is,
little by little🤏
while relying on others for things you cannot do or do not understand👥
doing what you can do
and living your life❗️☝️🥹'
and,
'stubbornly,
trying to stand by being strict with yourself🧍♂️‼️'
I stopped thinking that way☺️
To "rely on" means,
not just in the negative sense of being dependent and needing to be carried🤱
but it also has
the element of "making the other person happy🫶"
"making the other person happy🫶"
as well😇
"The one relying🙏"
・Reach a solution faster☝️
・Learn new things☝️
・Gratitude is born☝️
・Trust is built☝️
・See a side of the other person you didn't know☝️
・Can show respect☝️
・Accepting your own limitations☝️
(increases self-acceptance)
and so on
"The one being relied upon💪"
・Self-esteem increases☝️
・The joy of being useful☝️
・Realizing your own talents and individuality☝️
・Gaining gratitude and compensation☝️
・Improving skills☝️
・Building relationships of trust☝️
and so on
True independence is
『Making yourself happy🌸
and making others involved happy too🫶』
that is what it is about🤗
For those who lack confidence in themselves and are afraid of“independence”🥺
『It is okay to rely on others🙆❣️』
Doing everything by yourself❗️
Doing everything perfectly‼️
There is no such thing😌
Just as the sun, air, and water are always supporting us🌞
no matter how hard you try to do it all on your own,
in the background
many people are already supporting you🥹🫶
When you really hate relying on others and
stubbornly push yourself to do it alone☝️
『You might be stopping the cycle of someone else's joy and happiness🥺💦』
I hope you can try thinking that way🥰
I think.
When you hesitate to rely on others out of kindness,
there are times when you just can't help but hold back☝️
Thinking that 'doing everything by myself
won't cause any trouble❗️😣'
is actually quite presumptuous, isn't it?🥺'
I hope you can try thinking of it that way🥰
I really do.
Please try including relying on others as one of your acts of kindness🫶🤗
Independence is something everyone is inherently capable of.
Earning your own money 🟰 independence
is not the only way, and if you focus only on that,
you might miss out on
'the way you are truly meant to be independent'
and fail to notice it🥺
Humans are born with
various roles to play👶
First of all,
please try turning your attention to that (to yourself)☺️
There is no need to rush or feel anxious about differences compared to those around you👍
It is okay even if you are older🙆♀️
You can start at any age🤗
Please try to
become aware of yourself☺️❣️
'Many ways to be independent'
'What you can do right now'
Know these things and gain awareness😇
That is how you can move forward little by little🤗
It will be okay👌
I am one of those people too☺️
I am rooting for you all📣💓
