The Excitement of Fan Meetings and 'Oshi' Trips Spun Through Witty Banter Between Two: A Post-Broadcast Story of Shimokita FM's 'Oshi Vacation'

This time, continuing from last month, I will write about the behind-the-scenes of the Shimokita FM segment "Oshi Vacation" in which I participated as a scriptwriter and staff member (general director).

Preparations for the "Trip Report Meeting" started immediately after the previous broadcast, and this month, things ran in parallel. The first draft of the script was completed on August 10.
Initially, based on the content posted by Itagaki-san from management, we planned a structure following "10 Reasons to Recommend Participating in Fan Meetings and Supporting Oshi Trips" where MC Nano Miyoshi-san would explain fan meetings and Sankees Oshi Trips. We also planned a segment titled "Oshi Trip Theme Song Championship" after the explanations, where we would solicit songs from viewers that perfectly fit the atmosphere of this Sankees Oshi Trip and introduce them on the program. However, we ultimately decided on a structure where the program would proceed mainly through free talk between Miyoshi-san and Itagaki-san, following the slides that served as the foundation for this talk theme. The final script was completed on August 24, four days before the broadcast, which was the earliest in the history of our past broadcasts.

And then, the day of the broadcast arrived. While I was busy working as a production staff member for Shimokita FM until just before the broadcast, I managed to squeeze in time to have a pre-broadcast meeting with Itagaki-san and confirm the flow to prepare for the show. Personally, I started feeling restless from about an hour before the broadcast due to excitement and a slight sense of nervousness.
Around 9:45 PM, 15 minutes before the broadcast, we held a pre-show meeting that also included Miyoshi-san to re-confirm the overall flow of the broadcast. Seeing Miyoshi-san participate in the meeting so enthusiastically while taking notes on the script really touched my heart as a staff member.
And then, the broadcast began. I was next to the monitor with the script, cue cards, and a computer containing backup data for the slides shown during the broadcast, keeping an eye on the time and giving instructions with cue cards as needed. This time, the progress was relaxed enough that we were slightly ahead of schedule from the opening, and I think it became a broadcast where we could hear the passionate thoughts of both Miyoshi-san and Itagaki-san regarding the "Trip Report Meeting" and the Sankees Oshi Trip, which gave momentum to these events.
This "Trip Report Meeting," which serves as the culmination of the first Oshi Vacation Oshi Trip that began in late May, will be held on Sunday, September 14!

And the second Oshi Vacation, "Sankees Oshi Trip" might be the first and last precious trip that the four Sankees members go on together. With more affiliated partners cooperating with the trip, it is sure to be an even more voluminous trip than the first one!
