A life full of unpleasant things might actually be interesting
"You really are a contrarian, aren't you?"
"How can your personality be so twisted!"
For these reasons, my mother and husband are often exasperated with me.
I think so myself, too.
I am stingy, my personality is twisted, and I am always being contrarian. If I spoke my true feelings too much, I'm sure all the friends I have now would disappear. That's why I often stop two steps before my true feelings, and I prefer not to be too open about my own thoughts.
I don't expect to be liked by everyone, but I don't want to be disliked on purpose either. Keeping my mouth shut has more benefits for me.
My daily life is full of unpleasant things, complaints, grumbling, and a sense of discomfort.
For example.
I'm attending a wedding because I was invited, but honestly, I don't think we're close enough to be invited (that's my perception). I'm sure this wedding will be the last time I ever see them in my life. For that, I'm spending two days of my time, plus travel expenses, accommodation, and tens of thousands of yen for a wedding gift. I sometimes think it's not worth it.
...See, I'm an unpleasant person, aren't I?
If I told my husband, he would probably dismiss it by saying, "You're really twisted! They invited you out of kindness, so you should just go and enjoy yourself. You'll get a delicious meal, too."
Since I can imagine his response, I don't bother complaining to him.

As someone who is a freelancer and moves around for work, my husband is about the only person I have to talk to. If I don't talk to my husband, these daily frustrations won't be shared with anyone, and I have no choice but to come to terms with them on my own.
That might be why I write on note.
However, there is one thing I have decided.
"I will not write negative things on note."
...Even though grumbling, complaints, and contrarianism are mostly negative things?
Yes.
I try to interpret my daily grumbling, complaints, contrarianism, and discomfort in a way that is at least flat, if not positive, before putting it into words.
So that people who happen to open my note don't feel uncomfortable.
You wouldn't want to go to a park full of dog poop, right? It's the same thing. If my note is the park, I want to clean up the poop in the park properly. In fact, cleaning up poop is what writing on note is.
It doesn't have to be sparkling clean, but as long as it's reasonably tidy, that's fine.
Besides, it's hard to write about things you like. Because things you like are just things you like.
But there are plenty of reasons for things I dislike.
How can I convert that into something "not unpleasant"?
Since I have so many unpleasant things every day, my mental conversion game never ends.
Thinking about it that way, ironically, you could say my daily life is surprisingly interesting.
I can even thank the friend who invited me to the wedding for giving me material for my note.
A daily life full of unpleasant things is not a bad life.
Thank you for reading today as well.
What is your way of relieving frustration?
