Let's Host an Imaginary Solo Exhibition: How to Enjoy Art
I only started taking an interest in art a few years ago.
To be honest, I don't have enough experience visiting museums or attending exhibitions to show off how to enjoy art...I don't have anyone around me who is interested in art, so whenever there's an event I'm interested in, I always go and enjoy it by myself.
But! There is a way to enjoy it even when you're alone! That is the 'Imaginary Solo Exhibition'.That is the 'Imaginary Solo Exhibition'.
Suppose there is a painting in front of you. You can put yourself in the artist's shoes and have fun giving it a completely different title from the one it already has.
Look at the whole thing, and you can even expand the exhibition theme, the sign logo, the lighting, the background music (if it's playing), the placement of the works, and the areas. What should the exclusive merchandise for participants be? Should I have them fill out a survey? What about perks for respondents? You can make it whatever you want, because it's an imaginary solo exhibition.
If you like looking at art, wouldn't some people be excited to host an exhibition for someone else, even if it's just in their imagination?
There is no limit to the number of works to exhibit, and the venue is free to choose. You don't have to worry about labor costs or whether the turnout will be affected by the weather. Maybe it would be fun to collaborate with someone?
Because it's an imaginary solo exhibition.
