I was deeply moved that you wrote an introductory article solely about me, Kokone.
Thank you very much.

Although Yupon-san and I had interacted through reactions on note and X,
we hadn't exchanged comments or anything like that.

However, when I started setting up a community specifically for breast cancer patients
and began recruiting official supporters,
you responded immediately.

You always include such warm messages when you do.

I was very happy to feel that there were many points of connection between us,
such as the circumstances behind why you decided to support the artist Yumeno,
and your thoughts on her activities.

Recruiting official supporters,
asking for something.

As you, Yupon-san, wrote,
it truly required courage.
I had various conflicts and worried about how much people would understand.

But the reality is that if I don't move forward,
I won't be able to achieve anything.
I'm glad I gathered the courage to take that first step.

I now feel that this has become a catalyst for us to have an even deeper connection.

Ever since I was diagnosed with breast cancer,
I have felt a sense of loneliness, as if I had been left behind by society.
Even now, I haven't been able to fully return to society.

When someone like me wants to do something in society once again,
I am now experiencing firsthand just how much power it requires.

From the outside, people might dismiss my participation in the contest as just something I'm doing on my own,
but I am taking on this challenge because I feel that the contest is a place where I can find the courage to believe in myself and reveal who I am,
and increase the number of people who understand me.

I hope that by seeing me, it will serve as a catalyst for others fighting breast cancer or other cancers to find even a little bit of courage.

I believe that paintings have that same kind of power.
Art connects with people's hearts and memories, and is etched into the brain.

And it can also awaken those memories,
as well as heal them.
It is established as art therapy.

The fact that Yumeno-san herself is a counselor is another point of connection,
and I feel a personal sense of destiny in that.

I also see that the effort you, Yupon-san, are putting in because you want to be a supporter is a wonderful relationship.

And above all, as an artist and creator,
the greatest joy is having what I have created purchased by others.

When you hold it in your hands, you will surely notice its depth,
its breadth, its power, its gentleness...
the charm that only an original painting can have.

I would be happy if you could welcome it
as if gently adding a single flower to your home
