The Daily Life of a Karate-Style Radio Calisthenics Practitioner
I have been doing serious radio calisthenics every day for two years. There are days when I slack off, but that's just part of the charm.
Don't underestimate it as just simple exercise. Like a karate practitioner, I swing my limbs with such force that I cut through the air. Lately, I've started to feel like something is missing.
My forearms. Even without doing anything special, they have developed surprisingly strong and impressive muscles. The moment I slide my gaze a little higher into the upper arm area, the scenery changes completely.
Suddenly, it's squishy.
Every time I look in the mirror, I gaze deeply at my appearance, thinking, 'That is a magnificent, textbook middle-aged woman's upper arm.'
To start with, I decided to rely on the teachers on YouTube.
My target is the triceps. I think I'll start some specialized strength training to give that squishy part a pinpoint wake-up call.
I heard somewhere that there is not much point in relentlessly punishing your muscles every single day. So, I am setting my own rules to be a bit more relaxed.
On days when I have a night shift, and on days when I am completely off. I will try incorporating it into my schedule only at these times.
If I suddenly get greedy and try to do this and that, I will end up hating it halfway through, so I will start with just push-ups. I will focus solely on this.
It should surely be better than doing nothing at all. That is the kind of small start I am aiming for.
Moving on to the next step after radio calisthenics.
Don't be greedy, don't rush, just start with this.
I will change the appearance of middle-aged women.
