Words for December 31st
"This world is wonderful. This world is amazing."
Overview (What this is about)
In life, there are many events that feel unfortunate, unlucky, or unreasonable.
However, if you decide the moment you see them that "this is the worst world,"
you will lose sight of the lessons, connections, and joys that were originally there.
This story explains that whether or not you can accept it by saying
"Even so, this world is wonderful after all"
will greatly influence a person's
luck and ease of living.
■ Changing your perspective
"It is a stroke of luck just to have been born"
"I am who I am today because of my encounters and experiences"
It is taught that accepting this and repeatedly saying
"Now is wonderful" is a mindset that
quietly but surely raises your fortune.
Today's point
■ Your heart determines how you see the world
Even if you live in the same world, for those who see it as "full of unpleasant things" versus those who see it as
"It's tough, but still wonderful", the people they meet and the meaning they give to events will
change significantly.
■ Count blessings instead of misfortunes
Rather than counting what is missing or past wounds,
"I am alive today"
"I can eat"
"There is someone to talk to"
The more you count such small blessings, the more the world will gradually
show you a kinder face.
■ Dare to put it into words
Especially when your heart feels like it's becoming desolate,
"Even so, this world is wonderful"
"I am sufficiently blessed right now"
By saying this, your perspective is quietly reset, and it becomes easier to
find lessons and opportunities within the events that have occurred.
■ Turning life into an affirmative story
Even experiences that didn't go well or failures,
"Because that event happened, I am who I am today"
"Everything was a lesson"
The more you can accept them as a story,
the more naturally luck will favor you.
As a conclusion to the year
At the end of the year,
"It was a good year"
"This world is wonderful after all"
Between those who conclude it that way,
and those who think "It was the worst year ever,"
the flow of luckwhen entering next year will change significantly.
No matter what kind of year it was,
you can decide for yourself the final words you choose.
I feel that these words are teaching us
such a quiet message.
Today, and from now on as well.
May this world look a little kinder to you.
