Lecture 1: The 'True Nature of Anxiety' We Face — Where Does Financial Anxiety Come From?
The article I introduced previously about Keiichi Kaya's book
'Please Teach Me How to Never Struggle with Money!' (Bunkyosha) was read by more people than I expected.
Thank you very much.

So, starting this time, I would like to introduce the content in a bit more detail,
incorporating my own thoughts and feelings as a series.
First up is Lecture 1: The 'True Nature of Anxiety' Edition.
■ Overview: Where does financial anxiety come from?
In this chapter, we will clarify the
'I might need more money'
'I might be in trouble in the future'
...the true nature of such vague anxiety.
■ Main Points (My Summary)
Anxiety is born from 'lack of information' or 'situations where the future is unclear.'
Regardless of generation or family background, people tend to feel anxious in situations where they have 'no options,' 'cannot grasp the current situation,' or 'have vague preparations for the future.'First, it is important to 'visualize anxiety.'
Write down your situation and the options you have on paper to organize them (as mentioned on p.20, etc.).
By making it visible, the vague sense of unease will gradually clear up.If you get swallowed up by anxiety, your decision-making becomes dull.
That is why it is important to 'notice and face your anxiety at an early stage.'Face your current situation and create a 'state where you can control things step by step.'
Only with that foundation can you develop the mindset and systems to move forward.
■ Points I Resonated With
Within this chapter, the following words left a particularly strong impression on me.
The root of the feeling that 'the world is full of anxiety' is actually not money itself, but
'having no options.'
There is only one solution.
Always secure multiple options and keep yourself in a state where you can act according to your own will at any time.
Money itself doesn't resolve anxiety, but
**'money' is what triggers you to take the first step**.
This part was truly an eye-opener.
I used to think that 'having money brings peace of mind,' but
in reality, 'being in a state where you have choices' leads to much greater peace of mind.
■ In conclusion
Lecture 1 is
truly a foundational chapter before we dive into specific techniques or investment topics.
If you skip this, no matter how much knowledge you acquire,
your anxiety may remain.
This was a part I wanted those who feel a "vague sense of anxiety" to read.
Next time, I will deliver the content of Lecture 2. Stay tuned!
