Managing Delusions (Imagination) Within Yourself
Good evening, this is Alexandria.
After writing about "invisible enemies" yesterday, I had an 'aha!' moment.
I myself have encountered various events amidst the dizzying changes this year, and usually, I felt shocked at first. Once I calmed down, I could think of them as necessary events for change, but...
Shock is based on the surprise of an unexpected event. People live within a sense of pre-established harmony, with things progressing under the assumption that "this will probably happen." When things go as planned, the mind is calm, but when that expectation is missed and things swing toward the negative, I think feelings like disappointment arise.
The greater that swing, the greater the sense of disappointment.
For example, in terms of health, this could be discovering a major illness; in terms of money, losing a large sum; or in terms of relationships, having to part ways (break up) with someone you were very close to.
In astrology, we interpret which house of the horoscope is related to these events based on the theme of what occurred.
The "invisible enemy" mentioned at the beginning represents the 12th house in a horoscope.
By writing yesterday that the events accompanying this series of changes might also be related to this invisible enemy, I realized something.
The 12th house also signifies the unconscious, and that is exactly right; I had been looking at things from other perspectives, but I hadn't been paying attention to the 12th house.
However, when I looked closely at the 12th house, I saw that concerning movements were appearing.
Now, regarding what an invisible enemy is, when I think about it again, the 12th house is the spiritual world within oneself, so in the original way of thinking, while there are others I imagine subjectively, there are no others who actually exist.
Thinking about it that way, I felt that "an existence of delusion created by myself" was a more appropriate expression for an invisible enemy.
However, the difference between this "reality" and "delusion (imagination)" is a difficult problem if you think about it deeply. Since we can gain a sense of happiness from imaginary (delusional) objects and feel unhappiness from real objects, I think the two, as existences that influence us, are actually ambiguous.
Therefore, rather than which is which, what I felt this time is that it is important not to create unnecessary anxiety, fear, delusions, or assumptions within my own image.
It might be difficult to completely eliminate such images, but I realized once again that it is important to first recognize them as assumptions or delusions (imagination), and then learn to manage them well.
Thank you for reading this far.
