The results of an 'Exorcism to Remove Being Blocked in All Directions'?
In early October of last year (2025), I went on a Tohoku region expedition: 'Autumn Trip Part 1: Visiting power spots to receive an exorcism to counter being blocked in all directions'.
Yudonosan ShrineI reflected on my daily lack of discipline and misconduct due to the intense pain that arose in the soles of my feet at , and at Dewa Shrine(Mt. Haguro), I suffered from severe muscle pain in my lower body after descending the 2,448 stone steps. Although I was on the road to recovery after bathing in hot springs, the difficulty of walking on the approach path was the final straw, and I received the main exorcism at Iwakiyama Shrine.
Judging that the subsequent itinerary was impossible due to the extreme muscle pain, I returned from Hirosaki to Nagoya all at once, but the muscle pain in question subsided in about two days.
I even reflected a little, thinking, 'If it was going to be like this, I should have endured it a little longer and stayed in Tohoku...'
Well, it's the New Year, so I'll talk a little bit about the effects of the 'exorcism to counter being blocked in all directions'.
While I was obsessed with the anime 'Ruri no Houseki', I actually took a certain qualification exam.
Since it was a qualification I wanted to obtain because it's versatile, I studied for it to some extent and took the exam, but my feeling on the day of the exam was, 'Honestly, it's subtle'.
Well, between studying, I was escaping reality by tinkering with my NAS and reading manga, so I guess that's how it is.
It had a subtle difficulty level with a 'pass rate of around 20%'. Since it was my first time taking it, I thought, 'It would be nice if I could just get a feel for the atmosphere' and 'It would be lucky if I passed'.
Since the 'pass' postcard didn't arrive even after a few days had passed since the mailing date of the result notification, I thought, 'It can't be helped. Shall I start applying for the next exam and start studying again?', and went to a drinking party with close acquaintances, chatting about things like, 'It was unexpectedly difficult. I failed this time~'.
It was the Monday after the weekend following the drinking party.
While I was organizing the mail that had been delivered during the day while having my evening drink, there was a suspicious postcard.
Huh? Isn't there no notification for those who failed? I thought, and when I opened it...

It said I passed.
It took five days for mail sent from an office in Nakamura-ku, Nagoya, to reach me, who lives in Nagoya City... Even excluding the weekend, that's three days... Is that how it is?
It was good that there was a while until the application start date for the next exam, but if I were clumsy, I would have applied for the next one...
Even after the 'unexpected' pass postcard arrived, a prize that my family member had applied for in my name was won, and in the first place, nothing problematic has happened around me.
So, I think that the exorcism to remove being blocked in all directions had an effect, at least to some extent.
Like 'I don't feel refreshed' or 'Hmm, things aren't going well'.
If you feel like you are 'blocked', it might not be bad to have an exorcism done, right?
'Being blocked in all directions' has a set age range, and it gives a defensive impression of 'removing a state of being blocked'. So, I feel like it's 'something that people who need it should receive'.
However, for example, Samukawa Shrine in Kanagawa Prefecture performs a prayer called 'Happo-yoke' (protection from all directions), which 'removes all misfortunes and disasters caused by land physiognomy, house physiognomy, direction, and timing, and brings prosperity to the family business and happiness'. It feels more like an offensive prayer. If you live in the Kanto region, it might not be bad.
If you are not at an age where you are blocked in all directions, there is also a prayer called 'Shingan Joju' (fulfillment of wishes) that most shrines will perform for you.
Since it's the New Year, many people have probably gone to shrines for their first visit of the year.
Normal worship and visiting are good, but it's also nice once in a while to have a prayer where a professional can mediate with the deity being enshrined.
'Something might change'
It might be a trigger for that.
...I don't know, though. (^^;
[Supplementary items, etc.]
As I wrote in a previous article, I received distributed items from the Shinto priest after receiving the exorcism.
I knew there were many items in the paper bag I received, but I thought it would be inappropriate to open it in the car, so I checked it after returning home and put it on the shelf.

'If you don't have a household altar at home, please place the sword exorcism charm and the paper charm in a suitable place. A high place is preferable,' I was explained, so I placed them in a space in the storage shelf where I used to put amulets for warding off evil.
'Please keep the anti-blocking card on your person by putting it in your wallet or driver's license case,' so I keep it in my card case when I go out of the house.
I was told, 'Please stick the evil-warding stickers on the outside of the entrance or around water areas,' but if someone who doesn't know the circumstances sees them, they might think '???', so I haven't stuck them yet.
I was told to 'sprinkle the purified sand around the four corners of your property,' but I haven't sprinkled it. Shall I try sprinkling it after the beginning of spring?
I haven't eaten the small kelp rolls that were given as offerings yet either. I'll put them in when I make simmered dishes next time.
So, there are a few items that I haven't achieved even though I was told to 'do it'. But it's a matter of mood, right?
Isn't the fact that 'I received an exorcism' at the root of the effect?
Keeping the card on your person might also lead to a sense of security.
Well, in any case, it's probably a 'mood' or 'state of mind'.
