Participating in the 'Guchi-1 Grand Prix Awards Ceremony'
Yesterday, on Sabo-nee's Stand.fm,
the results of the Guchi-1 Grand Prix were announced.
The awards ceremony took place.
It was so much fun!
There were 11 entries from 10 participants.
I also wrote one.
The judges were the organizer, Uririn from 1986,
the laughter queen Sabo-nee, and Kakiha-san.
Yesterday,
the flow was to talk about each entry
with the authors themselves, followed by the awards.
A prize was given to each person.
Sabo-nee stood out even more
than the organizer, Uririn.
It was the usual turn of events.
Moreover, she was in high spirits, bringing her own sound effects.
There was a drumroll
and a 'ding' sound.
Furthermore,
a 'clang' sound.
It sounded like something from 'Abarenbo Shogun'.
Sabo-nee kept hitting it for no reason.
She would ring it herself and burst into laughter!!
She seemed to be in top form.
My entry was 10th, but
it ended up being 9th.
In the first half, my phone kept ringing incessantly,
so I couldn't really hear what others were saying.
Just before my turn,
I managed to hear
from Ayaka-san's part.
I kept getting calls after that, though.
They called my name,
and I got to speak.
As soon as I appeared this time,
'The dual-wielder of Showa-era laughter and mental strength,
it's Arkun!!'
I thought I had nailed it, but
Sabo-nee said,
'Do your usual thing~'
she told me.
Even though I thought I had decided on it,
a surprise redo!?
'Yakkun, Fukkun, Mokkun, it's Arkun!'
I was so flustered about having to redo it that I kept stumbling over my words.
To my surprise, even the sound effects here
were prepared by Sabo-nee. She's incredible!
While teasing Uririn,
we talked about our work,
but Sabo-nee was in top form and kept talking away.
I desperately tried to jump in with my own words.
There were no gaps,
so I had to force my way in just to speak.
It was truly a 'Battle Without Honor and Humanity'.
And, my award was
The Golden Arrow Award
No, wait,
The Golden Aho (Fool) Award!
Hey!
Who are you calling a golden fool!?
Don't say it like
Ebara's Golden Sauce!
The person who named it
was Uririn from 1986.
I couldn't help but burst out laughing.
I was surprised that Uririn even had a sense for catchy slogans.
Apparently, it was because I kept throwing out Showa-era references.
It was so much fun!
Writing is fun, but
talking is even more fun.
Regarding Yoshi-yoshi's story,
Sabo-nee said,
'That guy, Rito-chan and I will beat him to a pulp! To a pulp!'
She said 'beat him to a pulp' so many times,
I think she said it at least ten times in total.
If there were a Japan 'Beat to a Pulp' Championship,
she would definitely win it. Well, it was fun.
Our mentor, Yasu-san, appeared at the end,
but as usual, he was playing it cool. Too cool.
He showed his true colors as 'Suka-Yasu' (Cool Yasu) rather than 'Stand-FM'.
Well, he had been drinking quite a bit.
And on top of that, he said he didn't remember what he wrote.
No way??
Mentor!
If Yasushi Yokoyama heard that,
he would probably be furious.
Mentor Yasu
writes two manuscripts every day
and edits several others for people every day,
so he lives a life surrounded by writing,
so please forgive him.
By the way, the Grand Prix winner was
Daina-san.
Congratulations!
Stand-FM is
really super fun!
I want to do it again!
Today, I wrote down my thoughts
on participating in the Guchi-1 Grand Prix Awards Ceremony.
I'm looking forward to the second one!
