[Parenting] Home Movie Theater

One day during summer vacation after a series of outings.

I don't want to do anything today...
My daughter, who loves going out, was clearly feeling tired.

So, we decided to watch a movie at home.

From the children's movies available on Amazon Prime,
my daughter chose the 'Curious George' movie.

Just watching a movie is boring, so
I made handmade tickets to create a movie theater atmosphere.

With popcorn made in the microwave and
Anpanman juice
set on a small table, we were all ready!

I tore the ticket I received from my daughter and
guided her to the bedroom with the PopIn Aladdin projector,
which we called our home movie theater.

While my daughter ate popcorn on the bed
and I drank coffee,
we had a relaxing movie time together.

I thought she might get bored and quit halfway through, but
my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the 80-minute movie.

On the other hand, I drifted off to dreamland before I knew it,
and when I realized it, it was the final scene.

My daughter said, 'That was fun, wasn't it!' but
I hadn't watched it at all, sorry. lol


The kids have a great time,
and parents can lounge around without any guilt.

Home movie theater is the best!

We can't do it every day, of course, but
it's nice to have time like this once in a while.


With that said, summer vacation is in the final stretch!
I'm going to enjoy it until the very end!
