Why don't we all make a songbook together!?
Where on earth did sanngo go, who never comes to note anymore?
That San-chan, who looked like they were carrying a boxy, moss-green refrigerator
engraved with the Showa-era National logo on their back,
has suddenly vanished from note.
Well, where did they disappear to?
My, my, it's like looking for something right under your nose.
It seems they were waiting at the doorstep,
doing this and that.
What, what?
San-chan, were you at the entrance of the house the whole time?
When I asked them about it,
it seems they are very busy writing a new work.
I haven't heard the details,
but it seems they are in the final stages of the new work.
What kind of story will this new piece be?
I'm incredibly excited.
あがりかまちで、まっている ~ナンヤカンヤ~
作詞 sanngo
作曲・編曲 山ちゃん&SUNOPreviously, on note, I had an exchange with San-chan
about writing lyrics
with the premise that there was a melody
(in reality, there was no melody at all).
In that case,
let's turn these lyrics into a song.
That's what I thought of.
And so,
the words spun by San-chan
crossed two years of time
and were born as a boogie-woogie.
The dishes after eating,
the ashtray turned into a pincushion with cigarette butts,
left just like that in the sink,
amidst the humid, unsanitary summer,
a foolish woman who could only live for love.
I wonder if I've been able to express that in the song.
Personally,
I thought it turned out really well,
so I also made a live version.
The time is the summer of 1980, at Orchard Hall.
The audience is packed.
The encore for San-chan,
who suddenly vanished from the spotlight,
is bursting at the seams.
Is it now?
Is it this or that?
みんなでアルバム作ってみませんか?This is sudden, but
why don't we put melodies
to the words you all have spun
and make an album?
That's what suddenly occurred to me.
I wish that would happen.
My note friends are all people who love words,
and there are many lyricists among them.
Why don't you try
putting a melody to those words?
I will be in charge of the composition and arrangement remix,
doing my best to satisfy you as much as possible.
I'll try my best (laughs).
The content of the lyrics can be prose poetry,
or if you want to try making a popular song
that emphasizes the structure of the song
(like verse 1 -> verse 2 -> chorus repetition),
if you have a request to try writing lyrics
with the premise that a song will be attached,
if I'm good enough for you,
I can teach you the basics,
like how to align the syllable counts
or how to apply rhymes.
(I actually have some experience with this, surprisingly).
For example, this ↓
Verse A -> Verse B -> Chorus,
Verse A -> Verse B -> Chorus,
Bridge (connection to the chorus) -> Chorus,
something like that.
It will be a classic style,
but if you choose your words
so that the story is conveyed to the listener,
songwriting really opens up the world.
Also, since the AI will handle the composition and arrangement,
is this the same melody?
Is this a bridge (a transition between melodies)?
Choosing words that the AI can recognize
is also important for the song's structure,
so although it's just based on my experience,
I might be able to offer some advice.
Of course, let's keep
any exchange of money out of this entirely.
I've done all sorts of things until now,
but when money gets involved, it only creates stress.
So, none of that.
More than that,
don't you think it would be exciting
if we could create a compact music album
that condenses everyone's imagination?
Yama-chan really wants to experience that!
I'll be waiting to hear from you!
See ya!
