I have something I want to ask you.

To all the residents of Akarium, thank you so much as always💕

Your comments and likes on note, and the way you let my articles swim around, it really makes me happy every single day.

But you know, there's something I've been thinking about for a while now.

Like, "It would be nice to have a place where we can chat more casually, wouldn't it?"

The comment section on note is a bit formal, isn't it? Since it's for comments on articles, there's inevitably an atmosphere of "I have to write something proper."

But sometimes you just want to have a more casual exchange, like "I made this today, what do you think?" or "I want you to take a look at this!"

I feel that way too. A lot.
Actually, I've already created a Discord channel for members only,
and we've been interacting and exchanging information there for quite a while now (*ﾉω・*)

So, well—

I'm thinking of creating a new Akarium community lobby on Discord!!🔥

What kind of place do I want it to be?

My image is a wide lobby right inside the entrance of Akarium.

A place where all the residents can freely drop by and have relaxed conversations like "Morning" or "I made this today."

At first, I plan to prepare just two simple things.

a text chat room and a voice cafe space.

The text one is just a lobby chat space. Chatting away with text.

The voice one is a place where residents can use it to say things like "Let's work while on a call."

...Oh, by the way.

The curator is text-only.

Because I'm an introvert. Voice is impossible for me.

I'm the type of curator who just smiles while watching everyone in the community having a blast on voice chat from the text side. That's fine. That's how I like it ꉂꉂ(ᵔᗜᵔ*)

There will also be a membership-exclusive area

Also, I'm planning to create an exclusive area for those who have joined the membership.

Think of this as the "Special Exhibition Area" of Akarium.

If you're a member, please let me know after you join the Discord. I'll give you a role (like a pass) individually, and then you'll be able to see the special exhibition area too✨

Though it's still under preparation!

To be honest, I'm still in the middle of working out the details, like the room names and the rules.

"I want a channel like this!" or "It would be safer if we had these rules" or "I want to hold a voice event!"
