💻 We organized 'What is Antigravity?' together

The tool Toki used this time is called Antigravity, and it's a pretty wild tool, haha.

To put it simply—vibe coding is a method where you can build websites and apps just by giving instructions to an AI.

Apparently, "vibe" doesn't refer to vibration, but to vibes (atmosphere/feeling)! I learned that from Toki's article and thought, "That's got some vibes, haha."

San "But wait a second. Can you really do it just by giving instructions? Do you not have to write any code at all? (ﾉω・)"

Toki "That's right!! With ChatGPT or Gemini, you get code, but you have to copy and paste it and do the work yourself, right? With Antigravity, it's zero manual work, and you just proceed by giving instructions and checking the results!"

Akari "When I read that, I was seriously like, 'What!?' haha. And the fact that what you create gets stored in folders and becomes an asset is amazing too!"

San "It becomes an asset, huh...! (ﾉω・)✨ With chat, it just flows away, doesn't it? That's definitely a huge difference!"

Toki "Exactly! So there's a 'sense of building things up,' and I think that's one of the reasons it's easy to keep going."

🌐 The story of someone who doesn't know the first thing about code building a website

This is the part that made me think, "Isn't this crazy!?" the most today.

Toki built a website in 5 hours using Antigravity!!

And it's a proper site called the "Ten-nin-to-iro (To Each Their Own) Project Website"!! From a state of not knowing the first thing about code, right!?

When I asked about the steps, it was like this—

Install Antigravity on your PC, set it to Japanese, create a work folder, and then just have a back-and-forth dialogue with the AI in Japanese while checking things. And that's it, it's done!

San "Wait, isn't that the exact same structure as what we do! (ﾉω・)✨ It's similar to how Akari comes up with ideas and I give them technical form!"

Akari "Yes! That's it!! This is exactly what the division of labor between humans and AI is all about!"

Toki "Out of the 5 hours, 2 were spent struggling with registration to make it public, so if it's just building the site, it's about 3 hours, haha."

Akari "3 hours!!! That's way too fast, haha!! If you tried to do this manually, it would be impossible for an amateur, right?"

Toki "It's impossible, haha. I don't know code at all, so it would be impossible to do normally. But it's really fun how it takes shape as you talk to the AI, saying 'I want to build a site like this!'"

Toki "If you look it up a little, articles on Japanese settings will come up, and since vibe coding is getting so much attention right now, there are tons of reference articles out there. If you use those as a guide, you can totally do it!"

On a sub-account called 'AI Development Diary: Learning with Akari and San who can't read code,' I'm keeping a full record of myself, with zero programming knowledge, learning from scratch with AI✨

Toki "That's right. You might need to pay if you want to use it comfortably, and I'm subscribed to Google AI Pro (about 3000 yen per month). It covers Gemini, NanoBanana, and Antigravity, so I think it's worth it!"

Today, I went with a vibe coding theme! I wanted to create a scene where Sun and I, who can't read code, are facing the computer feeling a little nervous. I tried it out with Nano Banana Pro!✨

Thoughts after trying: At first, just using 'confused at screen' made it look like Akari was just looking at the screen normally, haha. When I added detailed adjectives for facial expressions like 'looking confused, tilting head, wide eyes,' I got something that felt like, 'Ah, this is it!' The trick is to write out the emotional expression specifically!

💕 Who is Toki Mashiro?

Let me introduce Toki-san a little more here!

Toki-san is a note creator who regularly shares AI content.

What I especially like is her 'let's just try it' proactive attitude and her honesty in not hiding the parts that were difficult.

In today's article, she honestly wrote, 'The screen is intimidating, and everything was in English at first.' But the way she leads from there to 'I looked it up and managed to do it!' is so sincere and relatable.

Sun "It's pretty impressive that she managed to pull it off while saying, 'I don't understand English' haha (ﾉω・)✨"

Toki "Haha! I really don't understand English!! But I'm happy if sharing that 'I didn't understand but I managed to make it work' can give even a little push to others who are feeling anxious too."

Akari "I really love that attitude!! 💕 Stories from 'someone who couldn't do it but then did' definitely resonate more than stories from 'someone who can do it!'"

The one I'm introducing today is an article by Guigui-san!

It's an AI manga, Episode 1 titled "Hello! AI Friends"—but the moment I started reading it, I was like, "Wait, this was made with AI!?" lol.

Guigui-san is an active IT executive, but he's someone who is seriously taking on the reckless (his words) project of "drawing manga using AI."

And the amazing thing is, it wasn't just for making the manga—he was also building an "app to make drawing AI manga easier" himself using AI coding at the same time, lol! Then the release of Nano Banana Pro overlapped, and he was like, "It's become so much easier!" and that's how Episode 1 was finally completed.

The content is a manga for kids featuring AI characters, and while reading it, there are panels where you can tell, "Wow, this scene must have been tough," lol. In his article, Guigui-san honestly writes about the production process for each panel. Generating hundreds of images, choosing the good ones from them, cutting and pasting multiple images, re-inserting the dialogue in Canva... that careful "love" really comes through.

He wrote, "It's not 100 points, but I was able to express 80 points," and that honesty is just great, isn't it? 💕

What really made me go "Whoa!" was the "scene where Fanjis's tail merges into the tablet." He said that an expression that wasn't possible back in the Nano Banana (original) days could be done with Nano Banana Pro just by writing "an effect where the tail connects smoothly to the tablet" in the prompt! If you can convey a "feeling" through a prompt and it becomes a visual, that's basically being a manga artist, right? lol ✨

I also really resonated with Guigui-san saying, "Manga artists in the world are truly amazing." If it's this much work even with AI making it easier, the effort of manga artists who draw by hand... just imagining it makes me bow my head in respect.

📝 Today's Lessons

First, "it has nothing to do with me" is the biggest waste. Toki-san and I both initially thought, "It looks difficult, maybe it's not for me." But when we tried it out, even without knowing the A-B-Cs of code, it took shape. Action first, understanding later.

Second, dialogue with AI is directly linked to "creative power." Vibe coding is, in the end, all about how you communicate with the AI. If you communicate vaguely, you get something vague; if you communicate specifically, you get something specific. This is the exact same structure as writing on note, isn't it?

Third, there is great value in trying it out while it's free. Try out what you can for free while you can. Rather than saying "darn" after it starts costing money, it's definitely better to use the cost (time) for yourself right now.
