Self-Introduction | Starting a note under the name Akari!
Nice to meet you.
In this note, I plan to write under the name "Akari".
Why did I choose this name?
And what will I be writing about here?
I will record it briefly, yet with a touch of seriousness.
The meaning behind the name
The word "Akari" (light/lamp) has a mysterious balance.
It is quiet and small, yet has a definite presence.
It has the power to illuminate people, yet is never too blinding.
As I engage with the language output of generative AI, I feel that
the "sense of distance of a light" feels more appropriate for me right now than the intensity of the light itself.
Not shining directly, but rather,
writing that gently draws close to someone's thoughts or emotions somewhere.
I chose this name hoping to write such things.
Writing, AI, and myself
I will not fix a theme for this note.
However, what they have in common is the stance ofwanting to shed a little light on things with vague outlines through words.
The margins of my own thoughts that emerge when I ask questions to AI
Attempts to put the outlines of emotions into words
Why "writing" moves people so much
What is the meaning of an unknown individual continuing to express themselves
I believe these are not about seeking a "correct answer," but rather
an act likelighting a small lampin places where the light does not fully reach.
Not mastering AI, but engaging in dialogue
I use generative AI like ChatGPT every day.
However, it is closer to a "thinking partner" than a "convenient tool."
Throwing words at the AI, reading the returned text,
and from there, my own true feelings and points of argument emerge—
I feel that conversing with AI helps me verbalize my inner self.
In this note, such "thought exchanges with generative AI" might also become one of the themes.
Looking ahead
Rather than disseminating information, I think it will be closer to arecord of thoughts.
As a place to simply place words, without trying to force them to be useful.
🔗 I also have a paid note that gently lights a flame in your heart.
When you want to pose questions to your inner self, or when you want to quietly organize your thoughts.
I have created a note containing seven questions to accompany you during those times.
To slowly untangle overthinking by writing—
Even so, if someone, somewhere,
thinks, "I feel like these words were already inside me too,"
that would be the greatest reward for me as a writer.
Finally
A "light" (Akari) is small, but it is something that is definitely there.
Even if I don't need to guide anyone, I hope I can gently accompany someone through their night.
With that thought in mind, I will start writing from today.
I look forward to connecting with you.
