1. Highlights of the Grand Canyon South Rim
The Grand Canyon is one of the most famous national parks in the United States, a world-renowned canyon carved by the Colorado River over millions of years. The South Rim is the area on the south side of the Grand Canyon and is the most visited area by tourists. The Grand Canyon South Rim is a popular area for tourists throughout the year, where you can enjoy magnificent panoramic views. The sheer cliffs and colorful geological strata give viewers a sense of overwhelming scale.

The sunrise and sunset at this location were special experiences. During sunrise, the morning sun gradually illuminates the canyon, spreading a magnificent view that glows in red, orange, and gold.

2. Highlights of Sedona
Sedona is a small town located in central Arizona, famous for its beautiful red rocks and as a place dotted with power spots called "vortices." It is also popular as a spiritual tourist destination, known as a place to feel healing and energy.

3. From past diaries
8/21 (Thu): Trip to Sedona and the Grand Canyon at night
We planned to go see the sunrise at 4:00 AM, but naturally, we both overslept. Because of that, we gave up on the Grand Canyon and decided to head to the mystical town of Sedona.
We drove for about an hour to a vortex spot called Airport Mesa. A vortex is a place said to harbor mysterious power. We climbed a small rocky hill and tried to feel that power, when something strange happened to Yacchan, and then to me as well...
After that, we went on the long-awaited "Route 66" tour. First, we headed to the town of Williams, which we visited the day before. There were many Route 66-related items, and we enjoyed shopping at a leisurely pace. We didn't prepare a place to stay for the night. That's because we decided to sleep in the car inside the park to get revenge for the sunrise. On the second day, we enjoyed an emotional sunset and returned to the parking lot.
At night, a 180-degree starry sky spread out before us. Because the air was so clear, the stars shone as if they were within reach, and the Milky Way was clearly visible. We lay down together under that beautiful sky and chatted. In the pitch-black, quiet middle of the night, we were able to see a red moon at the Grand Canyon, a night where I truly realized we were having a truly, truly wonderful experience.
4. Summary
The scenery, sunrise, and sunset of the Grand Canyon. I will probably never forget them for the rest of my life. We were able to spend the best time!
