Announcement

To everyone who has always read this note.

This is a sudden announcement, but my mother (AKA, real name Akane) passed away on April 13, 2026.

I heard that before she passed, my mother told my aunt, 'I want my daughter to close the blog for me,' which is why I am writing this now.

She did not suffer excessively at the end and was able to depart peacefully.
I am sure that now, in heaven, she is free from tubes, dancing, doing housework, and enjoying everything she loves to her heart's content.

My mother's words in this blog

Actually, since the beginning of April, there were days when it was difficult for my mother to type.
On those days, my younger brother or I would listen to her words and type them on her behalf.

However, the words left on this blog are all my mother's own thoughts.

Even when she was not feeling well and felt like giving up,
she continued to share her thoughts, saying, 'I want to do something that will make someone happy.'

The beginning and journey of this blog

This blog started in November 2023, when she began oxygen therapy and could no longer go to work.

At that time, my mother told me she wanted to do something for society,
so I suggested, 'Why don't you start a blog?'

By sharing how she faced her illness and ways to make daily life better,
she thought she might be able to help someone.

Started with that thought, this blog continued to be updated every single day for 826 days,
until she no longer had the energy to continue during this last hospitalization.

Connection with everyone

My mother was always full of gratitude for the many people who read her posts.

And, I made more friends than I had ever imagined.
A relationship of mutual encouragement and support was born in this place.

My mother would often say,
"So-and-so did this,"
talking about you as if you were her real friends.

The person my mother was

My mother was a hard worker who almost never lay down to rest or spent time doing nothing.

While working morning and night, she raised the two of us children with all her might.

I am sure that even now in heaven, she has found her role and is busy moving about every day.

In closing

This post will be the final blog entry.
I will leave this blog as it is.

To everyone who has read this until now, thank you so very much.

Just as my mother continues to live on within us,
I would be happy if you could also remember her from time to time.
