Overwhelming Gratitude for 250,000 Views & Future Writing Plans (2025/10/24)

250,000 views in 20 months

Today, October 24th, I reached a cumulative total of 250,000 views.

To everyone who reads my work, as always, I offer my
overwhelming gratitude! m(_ _)m

After registering on March 1st last year, I was effectively dormant until reaching 50,000 views this April. Since then, it has been as follows. It took 20 months to reach 250,000 views.

Come to think of it, 200,000 views in half a year is quite a lot for someone with fewer than 1,000 followers, isn't it? Not that I really know.

At the current pace, it seems I'll hit 400,000 views a year. Wow, it's truly appreciated, especially since the content doesn't earn money or serve any particular purpose.

Today marks my 247th consecutive day of posting, and I'm sure part of the reason people read is because I keep at it.

Truly, "persistence is power."

By the way, my follower count is currently 999, so I'm on the verge of hitting the 1,000 milestone there as well.

The TOEIC 990 challenge I wrote about when I hit 200,000 views has safely (?) concluded, and daily life has returned. I want to think carefully about future operations. The current lineup is as follows.

This is my main corner where I write in detail about my greatest hobby: traveling.

Thanks to you all, I've received the highest compliments like "I can get a sense of sightseeing" and "I feel like I've been there," which makes me truly happy. This is surely the ultimate example of writing that AI cannot replicate.

Currently, I am serializing the Ogasawara edition, covering my trips to Chichijima and Hahajima. It will probably exceed 10 parts...

Analyzing "Most Liked Last Week"

The Tuesday "Most Liked Last Week" series has also extended its streak of Congratulatory Boards to 20 consecutive weeks (V20).

However, the mystery only deepens. I've figured out that if you have an overwhelming number of likes, the number of followers doesn't seem to have an impact, and there seems to be an upper limit for the same theme, after which you stop receiving them, but...

Shisa's Heart Tanka / Monologue

Recently, I've been getting into writing Tanka.

Condensing thoughts into 31 syllables takes mental effort, but it's full of the charm of weaving words together. I feel like the constraints are exactly what make it interesting.

Random Musings

My "Random Musings," where I write about whatever comes to mind, have reached 93 entries before I knew it. I apologize for the fact that I often get the count wrong and have to correct it, and that the content is always useless (serious face).

chocoZAP & Karaoke Diary

My chocoZAP & Karaoke diary is finally starting to get back on track. I'm still aiming for a score of 960 on the JOYSOUND national ranking throughout October.

Today's Chu-hi & Alcohol

Now that the TOEIC is finally over, I can enjoy my evening drinks freely again. Balancing it with chocoZAP is a challenge, but I still have plenty of stock I want to drink.

Come to think of it, I still haven't opened the "Shurei" Awamori (I wrote the same thing when I hit 200,000 PV last time).

Today's Ice Cream & Sweets

Like today's Chu-hi, this section is also very popular. You really like this stuff, don't you? lol

It's almost the season for delicious, rich chocolate treats. I'm looking forward to that too.

Summary

Something that has been bothering me for a while is that I still haven't written an introduction and there is no site map, oh man.

I've been doing this for a year and a half, so what kind of person am I for having zero self-introduction? I think that, but it's not making much progress (I'm just accepting it now).

I'm the type who says I'll write something but never does, but maybe I'll finally write it when I hit 300,000 views, probably.

For now, I want to continue making serious travel my main focus while traveling, and otherwise, I'll keep writing Tanka, exercising, and working hard at karaoke in my daily life.

...Wait, I'm supposed to go on a trip this weekend even in the heavy rain. I completely forgot, oh man.
