When a person in their late 40s buys recovery wear, there's an unexpected effect [Random Story 156]
Regarding the recently popular recovery wear. It seems Workman has started mass production, and I managed to get some when I happened to stop by.
They claim to aid in fatigue recovery and promote blood circulation, but while I bought them thinking, 'Is that really true?', there was an unexpected effect (*This is a personal impression. I corrected this because I woke up to use the restroom on the 15th).
What is recovery wear?
Recovery wear generally uses special fibers that radiate far-infrared rays emitted from the body, which is touted to promote blood circulation and lead to fatigue recovery.
Recovery wear is fatigue-recovery clothing that can be expected to promote blood circulation and alleviate fatigue, muscle tension, and stiffness just by wearing it.
Workman's 'Mediheal' line apparently has ceramic kneaded into the fibers and is registered as general medical equipment.
It is important to note that this is a notification, not a certification (verification is left to the manufacturer), so it is not what you would call an official endorsement.
That said, I have been feeling tired lately, so I was curious and checked Workman several times, but they were always sold out. However, perhaps due to the increased production, I was finally able to get them.
The price is 1,900 yen each for top and bottom
The long-sleeved room shirt and long room pants for home use are 1,900 yen each. I bought them thinking that if the total is 3,800 yen, I won't regret it even if they don't have much of an effect.

They look like normal shirts, but I assume the black fibers on the inside contain the ceramic.

I don't wake up to use the restroom in the middle of the night!
For the week since I bought them, I honestly can't say for sure if they were effective for fatigue recovery.
However, I have been able to sleep better and have often almost overslept. Since hitting my late 40s, I used to wake up on my own, but oh well.
The most surprising thing, though the connection is unclear, is that the number of days I wake up to use the restroom in the middle of the night hasdecreased. I am truly grateful for this.
Of course, there are individual differences, but perhaps the radiant heat makes it easier to sweat, reducing the amount of water excreted as urine. (*By the way, there are still days when I do wake up).
In fact, the instructions say to 'drink plenty of water before going to bed,' and I often wake up in the morning feeling thirsty. In that sense, is it effective?
It is clearly warm when worn
What is clearly noticeable is that it is very warm when worn. Until now, I needed the air conditioner's heating with just a sweatshirt, but just by wearing this underneath, I no longer need the air conditioner.
I think there's a difference in how it feels, but even just this is very welcome in winter, and I do feel the warmth from the radiant heat. I don't know if it actually recovers fatigue, though lol
Effect on fat burning?
The connection here is even more unclear, but for some reason, since I bought it on February 6th, my weight and body fat percentage have gone down, and my metabolic age has suddenly become younger.

However, this also coincides with the time I properly resumed strength training, so it's unclear which one is the cause. Or perhaps it's both.
Continuing for now
Honestly, the actual effects are still unclear. I'll continue using it for now, and if I feel like I'm in good shape, I'd like to buy some for training as well.
