Lemon Ramen @ Teuchi Ramen Isshin, Nishigo Village, Fukushima Prefecture

This is likely the closest hand-pulled ramen shop to my home.
I quite like it, and it's a Shirakawa ramen shop I visit often.

I basically always order the chashu ramen, but every once in a while, I get the urge to eat lemon ramen.

Lemon goes surprisingly well with the soy sauce soup of Shirakawa ramen.

It comes with four thin slices of lemon.
Because of that, it doesn't become overwhelmingly lemony. It's just enough that you can faintly detect the lemon flavor.
That exquisite balance is what makes it delicious!
I suppose you could call it an obvious secret ingredient?

The standard Shirakawa ramen is good, but you should definitely give the lemon ramen a try at least once.
