Tsundere Fairy Tales (9): Julia, the Healing Type from Little House on the Prairie

Synopsis so far

While I was in the middle of writing a tsundere fairy tale series that mixed broken tsundere-speak with fake-sounding Kansai, Edo, Chikugo, and Yonezawa dialects, the tsundere goddess Julia descended and said, 'You can do baby-talk too, right?' and so, this time, I ended up writing a tsundere fairy tale in baby-talk.

In a little house on the prairie lived a fox-girl named Julia, who was a healing-type tsundere with a bit of a sadodere side. She had beautiful hair, fox ears, and a tail that captivated everyone. Julia always ran around the prairie, living a free and easy life.

One day, while Julia was running through the prairie as usual, she found Rintaro, who could only speak in baby-talk and could never seem to grow up no matter how much time passed. Even though Rintaro clearly looked like a middle-aged man, he always spoke in baby-talk and played with the animals on the prairie.

The whimsical, healing-type Julia thought, 'For a change, instead of just healing, maybe I should try coddling him~♡,' and she called out happily, '🍼🤗 Come on, try and catch me. Ahaha~ Ufufu~'

Rintaro was moe-struck♡ by Julia's coddling and said, 'Munya munya~🍼, can I catch-u~? Bubu~! 🤗 I'll do my best! Fufu~n, come here~!' as he began to happily chase after Julia.

Julia began to run lightly around the prairie as if teasing Rintaro. Her black hair fluttered in the wind, and her fox ears and tail shone in the sunlight. Rintaro chased her with a smile, but it was a struggle to keep up with the fox-girl Julia's quick movements.

'Fufu, try and catch me if you can!' Julia shouted with a provocative laugh, to which Rintaro replied energetically, 'Yeah! I'll do my best!'

Before long, the two decided to take a break under an old tree. Julia sat down gently next to Rintaro, looked at him with a calm smile, and suddenly asked a serious question: 'Hey, Rintaro. You're actually an adult, so why do you always speak in baby-talk?'

Rintaro looked a little embarrassed and replied, 'Actually... it's because I'm a scaredy-cat. When I speak in baby-talk, I feel kind of safe. Though, it's really because you asked if I could speak in baby-talk, Julia-tan!♡'

Julia gently took Rintaro's hand and said in a healing tone, 'That's fine, too. Being yourself is the most important thing after all♡.' Rintaro couldn't help but feel moe-moe kyun♡ and said, 'Bubu~. Julia-tan's kindness makes me melt~.' However, this remark ignited Julia's tsundere soul, and she retorted, 'H-hey, just because I coddled you a little, it doesn't mean I like you or anything! That doesn't mean I hate you either, though♡.'

Then Rintaro replied, 'Fufu~n, is Julia-tan blushing~?' which in turn ignited the sadodere side Julia had been keeping hidden in her heart. She said, 'Hmph, there's no way I'm blushing. But you're kind of cute, so you need a little punishment♡,' and she punished Rintaro with sadodere words, leaving Rintaro in a state of masodere bliss.

Because Rintaro had become so masodere-blissful, the sadodere side within Julia grew even stronger. However, her kindness was still melted into it, and her deep affection for Rintaro could be seen through it.

'Come on, try a little harder♡,' Julia encouraged Rintaro gently. Rintaro responded to her words, and the two ran around the prairie together. Julia coddled Rintaro, sometimes strictly, sometimes gently.

As the sun began to set, the two sat down in the prairie, out of breath. Under the starry sky, Rintaro expressed his gratitude to Julia, saying, 'Thank you, Julia. Today was really fun.'

Julia blushed, but looking a little embarrassed, she gave a tsundere reply: 'I-it's not like... I did it for you or anything. It's just that it's fun when we're together...♡ But it's not like it's super fun or anything!'

From that day on, their relationship deepened even further. Julia's healing-type tsundere and sadodere personality, combined with Rintaro's innocence and masodere heart, created a strange yet perfect harmony. In the little house on the prairie, the days continued with the two of them happily deepening their affection for each other.

And so, this story left behind a lesson typical of fairy tales: 'There is a place where everyone can be themselves. And if you're with the person you love, wherever you are, fun things are just fun.'
