Today, I went shopping, and this is a story about how I managed to buy things for exactly 600 yen (excluding tax).

As you can see from this receipt, the tricky part is that the cherry tomatoes are sold by weight.
The prices for the broccoli and ketchup are fixed.
So, I had to be careful with the cherry tomatoes to make sure the total came to exactly 600 yen!
As it turned out, there was a pack for 262 yen, so I successfully managed to buy everything for exactly that amount 😆

This supermarket has a point card, and you get 1 point for every 200 yen (excluding tax) you spend.

You get 3 points for 600 yen, 3 points for 612 yen, and 3 points for 798 yen.

That's why I want to minimize the amount that gets rounded down 🥹
So that's why I do things like this 😅
