Summer Vacation on Tatami with an Electric Fan [Japanese Heart Stroll | Step 8]

Hello there, it's Aibiyori🐾

The hot days continue every day꜀(  ꜆  ‐ᯅ‐ )꜆

Air conditioning is certainly comfortable, but isn't there something uniquely pleasant about the breeze from a traditional electric fan?

A tatami room where you can hear the sound of wind chimes and summer sunlight streams in through the gaps in the bamboo blinds.

I've drawn a summer afternoon spent in such a place with Masusu and Hiyori🌿

1. A break in front of the electric fan

Drinking cold barley tea in the heat.

The gentle breeze from the fan sways my hair, and I feel my shoulders relax.

Even though it's time spent doing nothing, it feels like the most luxurious summer afternoon ( *´꒳`*)

2. The classic "Aaaaaah" you just have to do

A game you can't help but play when you see an electric fan.

"(¯□¯ ) Aaaaaaaaah"

I'm sure many of you have memories of repeating this over and over because it's funny how your voice shakes😊

Hiyori is also enjoying this summer staple to the fullest.

3. A premonition of mischief...

Hiyori quietly approaches the electric fan.

That grinning expression on her face.

What is she about to do...

4. The summer strong wind incident

It feels like Masusu's hair, cat ears, and dress are all about to be carried away by the wind 😂

Behind her, Hiyori is laughing out loud, her prank a great success.

Even such casual events strangely become fun memories when summer arrives.

The hot days continue, but while drinking cold barley tea, it might be nice to try spending time with just the breeze from an electric fan once in a while.
