Starting the "AI Plushie Lab"!

About two months ago, I wrote an article on note about the "AI Plushie Lab."

Before I knew it, two months had already passed...

While I was making preparations,

it took a little longer than planned because I was trying to think of content that would be easy to understand even for those using AI for the first time 😭

💎 Reasons for starting the AI Plushie Lab

As I post videos on social media,

"How do you make them?"

"I want to try moving my own plushies or pets too"

I've been hearing these questions more and more.

I have been operating two original AI characters, Teddypooh and Chubby Bunny, and have grown both to over 100,000 followers.

The reason I started this lab is that I wanted to create a place where I could share that experience in a way that is easy to understand for those who are touching AI for the first time.

Even if you are interested,

"AI seems difficult"
"I don't know which tools to use"
"I don't know where to start"

I think there are many people who feel this way.

I was actually the same way, so I really, really understand this feeling!

So, I wanted to create a place where I could share not only how to make AI videos, but also character planning, presentation, and how to grow them on social media in a way that is easy for beginners to understand.

I want to use my own experience to make this a lab where we can think together about everything from "making" to "growing"! And, one other big reason.

I currently feel that there is great potential in AI characters.

With the evolution of AI tools, we have entered an era where anyone can create images and videos.

That is precisely why I believe that value will emerge not just from the act of creating, but from characters that only that specific person could create, and from the very process of nurturing them.

However, it might feel a bit difficult to create an original character from scratch.

First, try bringing your own precious plushie or pet to life using AI.

By adding a name, personality, and story to them as you share them, that little one might grow into a character all your own.

And from there, there is also the possibility of combining your favorite animals or motifs to create a new, original character.

In Japan, the movement of individuals creating original characters with generative AI, nurturing them on social media, and expanding them as a single IP has only just begun.

I believe we are truly in thedawn of AI characters created by individuals.right now.

I hope this lab will encourage even a few more people to create and share their own unique characters.

💎 What is the AI Plushie Lab?

This is a note membership aimed at helping even those who have never used AI before learn how to bring their precious plushies or pets to life using AI.

We will start by creating AI images from photos of your plushies or pets, and then complete short videos that make it look like they are truly moving.

I will share not only how to make videos, but also how to create characters, build their world, plan content, and nurture them on social media, all based on my own operational experience.

From the initial thrill of "My little one moved!" to "I want more people to know about this little one."

We won't stop at just learning how to create; I will also share strategies for sharing your work so that, in the future, you can have many people know your character and aim for 10,000 followers.

💎 What do we do first?

In the lab, we will start with the following content.

・The overall flow of creating AI videos
・How to create AI images from photos
・How to turn the AI images you created into videos
・How to improve when you can't generate good results

We will go through the process one step at a time, from choosing a photo and creating an AI image to animating that image to complete a short, one-scene video.

After that, I plan to share, in order, production methods to increase quality, how to create character names, personalities, and world-building, ideas for getting your work seen by many people on social media, and the behind-the-scenes of how I actually produce and operate Teddypooh.

This is not a school-style program where everyone progresses at the same pace, but a membership where you can practice at your own pace according to your own experience and goals.

Therefore, for those who are already creating AI videos daily and only want to learn advanced production techniques in a short period, the content at the start may feel a bit lacking.

💎 Why I chose a membership model

At first, I thought about compiling the lab's content into a textbook and selling it as a one-time purchase.

However, AI is evolving at an incredible speed even now.

New tools and features appear one after another, and methods that were used until recently can be replaced by easier ways a month later.

In that case, rather than a textbook that is finished once created, I wanted to make this a place where I can share new methods I find while using AI every day, as well as things I've learned through actual testing, by updating it as needed.

And there is one more thing I want to achieve with this lab.

That is,

To make this not just a place where I unilaterally teach how to create, but a place where people who are also animating their own plushies, pets, and original characters can gather and share each other's work and discoveries.

And in the future, I hope that characters born in the lab can collaborate with each other, as well as with Teddypooh, and that we can create works and projects together as a team.

Also, when it comes to continuing to post content, creating AI videos requires money for the tools themselves.

If I make the price of the learning materials too high, the hurdle to starting becomes even higher, so I decided to start with a monthly fee to make it as easy as possible to join and to allow you to spend money on AI tools.

📍Regarding AI tool costs

In the first article of the lab,I will first introduce methods you can try for free.

Actually, I currently hardly use any tools that are available for free.

However, there is no need to purchase expensive tools right away. I would like you to try making one for free first, and then choose the necessary tools once you decide you want to continue.

Within the lab, I will also introduce as much as possible what can be done for free and what changes if you choose to pay.

💎 It finally starts on August 10th

The AI Plushie Lab will start as a note membership from
August 10th.

The monthly fee is 1,480 yen.

I'm not sure how many people will join, but I plan to start with a small group at first.

A place where we can grow new stories for your precious "own child" or your very own unique character together is what I want this to be!

Membership registration will begin on August 10th, and the first teaching materials will also be released.
